Planner Disc Swap

Hello and happy cold and rainy Monday, I am doing a quick drive by post today.  I have way too many unfinished holiday projects so I am in a time crunch to at least get my cards in the mail within the next few days.  As mentioned in an earlier post I said I would share the planner disc that I sent in the holiday cards for a planner group swap.  The disc are for the Happy Planner and I just used permanent markers to write inspiring words on one side and the year on the other side.  They went postal last week and hopefully have made it to their destination. I'm sharing this project for the Anything Goes challenge #104 over at Cardz TV and challenge #41 over at Love to Craft challenge blog.

Happy Saturday, today I am headed to the monthly crop with the RVA Scrappers; can you believe that there was actually two crops today so there  probably won't be too many scrappers in attendance. I am sharing a quick drive by  post of a card that I created as part of a swap.  I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap #156,  more paper from the Bo Bunny Beautiful Brisk 6x6 paper pad, Darice die for the tree, a few Ki Memories by Hampton Arts gems and a  K&Co stamp for the sentiment.  We were to create a Fall or Halloween themed card and I was paired with someone that requested a Fall card, I hope she liked it!

Hello Summer

Its Thursday and I'm so looking forward to the holiday weekend, not only because I'll be off work but because Saturday is my wedding anniversary and my DH is giving me my present today (stay tuned) for the LO reveal!  Over at Scraps of Color Rebecca Haynes coordinated a Summer card swap/exchange within the DMV group.  Today I'm sharing one of the cards that I made to send to another member, I used the DCWV Everyday paper stack, a cut from the Life's a Beach cricut cartridge, some decorative edge scissiors and a Hero Arts stamp.  I hope she likes it!    I am also sharing this card for the weekly blog challenge over at SOC, this week's challenge is Anything Goes. Sachet Holder

Today I'm sharing a project that I started on Scraps of Color during FNC but didn't have the contents.  So today I'm sharing the final project with the sweet Rose Petals sachet included in my upcycled toilet paper holder!  I'm happy with the way it turned out as it will be sent to my swap partner on Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack, I hope she likes it along with the other goodies that will be included in the box.  The paper used to cover the roll was some that I received recently in a RAK, the dress form was cut from the French Manor cricut cartridge and everything else was from my stash, I didn' take a picture of the back as it has some metal embellishments. 

Swap Partner Reveal

I am excited and happy to share with you some 'happy mail' that I received earlier this week.  Over at Scraps of Color I was participating in the Secret Sistah Holiday Swap, I've shared with you previously all of the goodies that I have received.  Today I'm sharing a picture of the last gift that I received where the identity of my partner was revealed.  I'm so happy that I was paired with such an awesome person, she has blessed with me so much and I am most grateful!  I won't have to buy any scrappin' goodies for quite some time!

Tag Swap

Happy Monday! Are you staying cool? This blazing heat is taking a toll on everything; I don't have the energy to move. I hope you're staying cool and well hydrated. Today I am sharing the tags that I received from a summer themed tag swap that was held over at Scraps of Color. I created the 4th of July tag.

Card Swap

These beautiful thank you cards were made by other Scraps of Color members. This is the first time I participated in a card swap, not sure I'll do it again but it was a good experience and I received some really nice cards.

Fall Swap

I haven't really had the opportunity to get alot of scrappin' done but I did want to share some of what I have been doing. Over at Mocha Scrappers we did a fall swap and I received some really nice goodies from Keya in Winston Salem, NC. I received some paper, stamps, hand lotion, scrapbooking bling and some peanut M&Ms. She also sent me a beautiful handmade card and the items were wrapped in some creative packaging which was one of the suggested ideas! Thanks again Keya for my goodies.
