You Are Loved

Hello and happy Sunday, almost bed time and the work week begins in a matter of hours.  The weekend goes by too fast I still have lots that need to be done!  Today’s card was created using sketch inspiration from Mojo Monday  sketch #544, more pattern papers from the SparkleBerry Ink paper pad and a Unity stamp for the image.  I am still trying to find a balance with my coloring, I used markers and not pencils this time; My marker stash is really limited, I really don’t need to start collecting anything else.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you will return soon.

Hey Girl

Hello Friday, welcome to the weekend!  So much has been going on that I haven’t taken the time to share what I have been creating.  Today’s project share is a card  created after one of our zoom meet-ups, I couldn’t participate during the meet-up so I made my card later.  I used pattern paper from the Recollections SparkleBerry Ink Blue 6x6 paper pad, the Floral Symphony Verve stamp set, some Recollections gems,  a Fiskars stamp for the sentiment, brads and ribbon.  I liked that I was able to use two  items from my stash that aren’t frequently used!  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #122 over at  Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, be safe and hurry back!

CIU #206 - Shaped Card

Hello Friday, let the weekend begin!   Today’s card share is my latest design team project share for the Cut it Up challenge blog, the theme for challenge #206 is Shaped card and our sponsor is CAS-UAL Fridays Stamps.

As the start of school nears I decided to create an apple shaped card which is a file from the Silhouette Design store.  I really need to use my toys more but it is so hard when you have so much stuff in your stash!  I couldn’t find the a bright red piece of paper that I wanted to use so I went to an old paper pad, the DCWV Grade School paper stack which has been in my stash for a long time.  I cut a small tag, added the stamped sentiment using a Recollections stamp, attached it to the card with a little piece of twine and the card was done!

Now that you’ve seen my project, I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration.  Create and share your shaped card for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from our sponsor. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, August 15, 2020 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe as you enjoy your weekend.

Coloring

Hello and happy Thursday evening, I started this post this morning but as life would have it I am just finishing it.  Today I am sharing a card using a stamp that I purchased recently during the Unity Stamps anniversary sale.  I really like their stamps but I can only buy them when they are on sale!  I am also excited to share that I used markers to color the stamp too because I usually color with color pencils.  The pattern paper is from the Pebbles Girl Squad 6x6 paper pad, the sentiment is part of the doll stamp set and the  enamel dots are from CC Designs.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #120 over at Cardz TV and the Love to Craft #49 August challenge.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back!
