Hello and happy Sunday, the start of a new week and a new month in a few days.  Today’s drive by post is to share another birthday card that will be going postal in tomorrow’s mail.  I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch #461, pattern papers from the My Mind’s Eye Dwell paper pad, Recollections card stock, a WeR Memorykeepers rose die, a stamped image and  a few gems.  The end of the month and I have a few LOs that I need to finish before the end of the month.

Hello Saturday afternoon, stopping in for a quick drive by to share another birthday card.  Created this card using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #645, pattern papers from the My Mind’s Eye  Life of the Party paper pad, a Momenta die for the flower, a Casual Fridays stamp for the sentiment and some Gina Marie enamel dots.  This super cute card will be going postal on Monday.

CIU #246 - Snowmen

 Hello and happy Friday, the last weekend in February!  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #246 is Snowmen and the sponsor is Oddball Art.

I used the Chilly Willy snowman from the challenge sponsor and colored him with alcohol markers, used the Pink & Main stitched rectangle die set, some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs and a sentiment from a Cardz TV stamp set.  The sketch used for inspiration is #48 rom Paper Play Sketches and the papers are from DCWV.

St Patrick's Day

 

Hello and happy Sunday evening, doing a quick drive by post to share a card that I created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts #460.  I have mixed feelings about it but it's no turning back now because it is going postal tomorrow.  I used papers from a DCWV Year Round  paper stack, a Fun Stampers Journey stamp for the sentiment, a Sizzix die for the label and the Create a Critter 2 cartridge for the four leaf clover; added a few Recollections gems and the card was done.

Thinking of You

 Hello Friday, I have been trying to post all week but as life would have it I didn't get around to it.  My one word for 2022 is Balance and I am no where near finding it!  Today's drive by post is a card created using Craftsmart white pigment ink and a stamp to create the background before cutting the pieces for the card base.  For some reason I just can't get the ink to dry completely, I always have smudges. The sentiment stamp is an older Stampin' Up stamp and the flower is from Recollections.  I have been working on sympathy cards this week.  I am sharing this card for  challenge #229 over at Creatalicious Challenges.

Heart Happy

 Hello Sunday, the start of a new week and a chance to do and be better.  Today’s drive by post is of a card created using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday. I used a Darice Hearts and Arrows embossing folder, DCWV papers for the cover and heart, the heart and sentiment stamp and banner are unbranded items from my stash.  Finished the card by adding a few Paper Studio gems and will be ready to go postal when needed!  I'm sharing this card for the Hearts/Love challenge over at Use Your Stuff.

Until We Meet Again

 

Hello and happy Saturday, I'm doing a quick drive by post as I have a busy day.  Today I am sharing a LO created using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap #242.  This LO documents what I did on February 2, 2022 although it was a celebration for a sad event, the time and love shared by family is important.  I used papers from the Park Lane Je ne sais quoi 12x12 paper pad, Amy Tangerine letters for the title, a heart die set for and a Sizzix die set to cut the numbers for the date.  Another LO completed toward my quarterly goal!

CIU #245 - Love/Valentine's Day

 

Hello and happy Friday, another sunny day in today's forecast.  Today's card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #245 is Love/Valentine's Day and our sponsor is the The Cutting Cafe.

Using files provided by our sponsor I created a slimline shaker card and I tell you it is packed with shaker bits!  The pattern paper is from an old Martha Stewart Essentials 12x12 paper pad, the sequin mix was created from sequins in my stash, added a bow that I created with some twine from the Dollar Tree and a heart gem from Love Nicole.  I wish I could say this card came together quite quickly but there were a few tries before I settled one.

Valentine Memory Dex

 Hello and happy cold sunny Tuesday I am back sharing my second post for today.  I am sharing my Love Bug  memory dex card, I am actually participating in two memory dex challenges so you'll see more them on my blog.  The heart paper is from Paper Studio, the lady bug was cut  using the Cricut Create-a-Critter 2 cartridge. cut the sentiment using a Sizzix die, punched the butterfly with MS punch and added a few Love Nicole gems and it was done!  I am sharing this card for challenge #202202 over at A Place to Start.

Happy Birthday Dad

 

Hello and happy Tuesday, today is my dad’s 81st birthday and of course his cards will probably be late!  I got caught up celebrating Baby Girl and mailed his cards late.  Oh well I may take off and drive down to take him to lunch depending schedules and resources.  I created this card after watching some YT videos using the Sizzix 3-D embossing folder, it had been in my stash for almost two years and I hadn't used it.  I used some alphabet letter dies to to cut the word dad and a Woodware stamp set for the sentiment which I heat embossed, added a few black gems to complete the card.  Another card done using something that has been sitting in my stash unused!

Thursday Musings

 

Hello and happy rainy, cloudy Thursday.  I'm doing another drive by post to share another Valentine Day card created using sketch inspiration from sketch #642 over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  This last card created and headed to an assisted living facility in Idaho.  I used pattern paper from the Pebbles Be Mine 6x6 paper pad, a heart embossing folder, a cupcake die cut from the Cricut Create-a-Critter 2 cartridge and a stamped sentiment.  Now I need to concentrate on crafting for Baby Girl's 21st birthday on Sunday.
