Hello and happy Friday, I need this year to slow down! Today’s card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #251 is Any Animal or Insect and the sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.
When putting my card together I used sketch inspiration from Try Stampin on Tuesday challenge #553. My original plan was to emboss the honeycomb but I couldn’t put my hands on the folder so I decided to use my stencil and some distress oxide ink. I did emboss the black strip with a dot folder, used a Sizzix die for for the bees, a piece of ribbon that had been on my desk for a long time. The sentiment is a Hampton Arts stamp.
Now that you have seen my project, I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration. Create and share your project using any animal or insect for a chance to win a stamp from our sponsor. The challenge starts today and ends at noon (EST) on May 20, 2022.
Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

A beautiful card with a gorgeous background. Thanks for the love on my projects. I'm also wishing you a lovely Mother's Day.
Great stenciled background and those bees are adorable! Love the stitched ribbon, too! Have a great weekend!
Cute card you've created using our TSOT sketch, Treva! I like the stenciled honeycomb you've created. Not finding just the right crafting tool when we think we need it is the "Mother of invention"! Thank you for sharing your card!!! -Donna
