Wednesday Wanderings

Hello and happy Wednesday, it is cloudy with some rain drizzle in our area today.  I am getting ready to go on a little girls getaway so pray for traveling mercies.   I'm doing a quick drive by post to share a card that I created over the weekend using some plastic wrap and ink to make the background and for the flowers.  I didn't have the type of ink that was suggested on the video that I watched so that may have something to do with the outcome.  It is like the ink smooshing technique but using plastic wrap.  The flower is an unbranded stamp and die set, the sentiment is from the Woodware Birthday Strips stamp set added a few pearl embellishments and this card was done!  I am sharing this card for the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #162, I used the middle row going down (floral, free and embellishments.  This is my first time sharing on this blog, head over there for some inspiration for more inspiration.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon.

CIU #252 - Out in the Country

Hello weekend and happy Friday, another warm weather day in the forecast.  Today’s project share is my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #252 is Out in the Country and the sponsor is STAMPlorations.

Using sketch inspiration from  Tuesday Morning Sketches  challenge #657 I created my card.  The old  well is a digital stamp from our sponsor, colored it with alcohol markers and used a stitched die to cut the panel out.  Cut three ovals using a Sizzix Stephanie Bernard framelit die set, stamped a sentiment and finished the card by adding some flat nail head gems.

Now that you’ve seen my project head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration.  Create and share your project using a die for a chance to win some crafting goodies from our sponsor.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, wishing and yours a wonderful weekend.

Thursday Mustings

Hello and happy Thursday, mini Friday let the weekend begin.  I started this post yesterday and for some reason I never hit the publish button so here I am tweaking it!   I'm back today to share another one of the layouts that I created for the National Scrapbooking Day.  I'm still really behind but such is life, I'll get it done as time permits that goes for the chores and everything else in life. For this 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbook page I used a picture taken of Baby Girl on Valentine's Day while she was out dining with one of her aunts.  I used a pagemaps sketch for inspiration, paper scraps, washi tape, stickers, dies and a embossing folder.

Thank you for your visit, hurry back soon!

Welcome Little One

Hello and happy Thursday almost Friday, I'm doing a quick drive by post as I should be getting ready for bed.  I created this card earlier and meant to share but didn't get around to it.  This signature card came together nicely using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin on Tuesday challenge #554, papers from the Echo Park Bundle of Joy 6x6 paper pad, a onesie die cut and stamped sentiment from my stash of  waiting to be used items.  Finished the card by adding a Paper Studio star gem, done and ready to go postal soon.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon!

Happy Mother's Day

Good morning and Happy Sunday, Mother's Day and the start to a new week!  I am doing a quick drive by to share a LO that I put together yesterday, the only one that I completed for National Scrapbooking Day.  I had intentions of doing more but of course I didn't!  I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap #248, papers from the Simple Stories Faith 12x12 paper pad, the Spellbinder's Blooms #1 die set, enamel dots and pearl embellishments.  I stamped the title with an American Crafts stamp that I picked up in JoAnn's earlier this year. I added the journaling on the back, I took this selfie one day as I walked back home after dropping my car off to be serviced, I wanted to document me wearing a jumper that I had picked up from Aldi one of my favorite grocery stores!

Thank you for your visit, hope you have an amazing love filled day!

CIU #251 - Animal or Insect

Hello and happy Friday, I need this year to slow down!  Today’s card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge  blog.  The theme for challenge #251 is Any Animal or Insect and the sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

When putting my card together I used sketch inspiration from Try Stampin on Tuesday  challenge #553. My original  plan was to emboss the honeycomb but I couldn’t put my hands on the folder so I decided to use my stencil and some distress oxide ink.  I did emboss the black strip with a dot folder, used a Sizzix die for for the bees, a piece of ribbon that had been on my desk for a long time.  The sentiment is a Hampton Arts stamp.

Now that you have seen my project, I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration. Create  and share your project using any animal or insect for a chance to win a stamp from our sponsor.  The challenge starts today and ends at noon (EST) on May 20, 2022.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.
