Finished the card by adding a few Spellbinders gold embellishments. I did a little coloring using color  pencils, still a lot of work to be done!

MemoryDex Card Share

Hello and happy Tuesday, today I am doing a quick drive by post to share a memorydex card that I created as part of a twelve day creating challenge.  I am running a little behind but I do plan to finish though! I used a Spellbinders basket die, a Momenta poinsettia die and greenery die and I cut the pinecone with the Cricut.  I added some diamond dotz to the centers and used a TH sticker for the sentiment.  I am sharing this project for the Winter/Christmas themed challenge over at Die Cut Divas and the Anything Goes challenge #689 over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I really like how it turned out, the papers are from a K & Co mat stack.

Thank you for your visit, hope you will return soon.

Be Merry

Hello and happy cold Wednesday morning, I'm doing another quick drive by post to share another card. This card uses sketch inspiration form Atlantic Hearts challenge #503 and a piece of pattern paper from an old Martha Stewart mat pad, some Recollections silver foil paper for the bow, an unbranded die to cut the bow and a stamped sentiment.  I like how this super cute card came together once I got the paper to work for the bow, thinking about it now I should have tried adding a little water to wet the fibers. I even have another die that would have cut the bow already assembled, that's what happens when you have way too much stuff in your stash!  Oh well lesson learned for next time.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back soon.

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday, doing a quick drive by post to share another holiday card. I put this card together using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #502, Recollections papers, Sizzix and Spellbinders dies, a sticker for the sentiment and a few gems on the wreath and this card was done. As simple as it may seem it did take a few twists and turns before I decided it was done!

Holiday Greetings

Hello and happy Sunday, the start to a new week and the pace for everything seems to be picking up.  Today's project share is two cards that I created using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge #584.  I'm just trying to use more of my stash items that have been sitting for quite sometime; the pattern papers came from a K&Co photo mat pad.  The strip behind the banner die was cut using some DCWV Glitzy pastel paper, a stitched banner die, two different letter set dies for the sentiment added some enamel dots and these cards were done.  I will be sharing these non-traditional colored holiday cards with some kids that recently suffered a loss of a parent.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

CIU #266 - Winter

Hello and happy Friday, so much going on that I just feel like I can't keep up.  Thankful for continued blessings and do overs.  Today's project share is  a shaker card that I created for the Cut it Up challenge blog Winter themed challenge.  The sponsor for challenge #266 is Oddball Art.

When putting my card together I used the Christmas Unicorn digital image from our sponsor, added only a little bit of coloring with pencils and glitter pens.  I used some DCWV glittered paper for the frame,  misc. sequins for the mix,  a few enamel dots and a sentiment stamp from Cardz TV.  I think the card came together nicely but it could have used a little more sequins!

Please visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more Winter inspired projects, create and share your own project.  You could win a $10 coupon code from Oddball Art, the challenge starts today and ends  Wednesday, December 14 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon.
