CIU #220 - Black & White With a Pop of Color

Hello weekend, looking forward to lots of playtime this weekend!  Today's card share is my design team project for the Cut it Up blog.  We created projects using black and while with pop of color for challenge #220 and our sponsor is Newton”s Nook Designs.

When creating this 5x5 square card I decided to use a die that I ordered a few months ago and it was a beast to cut, not sure  when I will use it again.! The black and white polka dot paper is single sheet from The Paper Studio and the hint of purple was a scrap from a fall pad, a Fiskars stamp for the sentiment and a few gems this card was done. Another card done and another stash item used for the first time.

Visit the Cut it Up challenge  blog for more design team inspiration, create and share your project for a chance to win a $20 store credit from Newton’s Nook Designs.  The challenge starts today and ends on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to stay safe as you enjoy your weekend and hurry back.

Memory Dex and Post Card

Today's project share is a Memory Dex and Post Card created for a challenge hosted by  Shanta on her YT channel and blog Creating From My Heart. I used papers and cut aparts from the Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl, a kit I received from one of my scrapping besties! I used Sizzix dies for the typewriter, scissors and dress form and the Crafter’s Companion Sew Lovely set for the thread spool. She wanted to receive them by tomorrow but I know that the way the post office has been operating she probably won't receive them until sometime next week. Another signature clean and simple project done and another challenge entered!

Thank you for your visit, hope you'll return soon.

Today I am sharing a simple two sided sign that I made for Baby Girl who is at home again this semester.  I used stickers, vinyl, ribbon, my Cricut and it was done!Nothing fancy but hopefully it will prevent others from disturbing or embarrassing her!
