How've Bean?

Hello and happy Sunday morning , doing a quick drive by post to share a card that I put together yesterday.  I  used  some papers that were sitting on my desk that I had originally pulled for another project, I think the pattern sheet is from DCWV.  I used challenge #548 from Atlantic Hearts for sketch inspiration, a Sizzix die for the coffee cup and a Fiskars stamp set for the sentiment; added a few black gems and the card was done! This week's theme for 2crafters1design is warm beverage, the challenge is hosted on YT but I share mine on IG.

Thank you for your visit, be safe and hurry back soon.

Thursday Musings

Hello and happy Thursday, little Friday.  It's another great weather day here in our area so I hope to get in a mid-day walk, I have been struggling to meet my weekly movement goal.  Today I am doing another drive by post to share a card that I created  using some items that have been in my stash for almost a year but hadn't been used.

I pulled out the TH snowman die set (Chilly & Freezy) that was created as a gift set for Simon Says Stamps.  I used random papers from my stash, a snowflake embossing folder, a mason jar cut using my Cricut (Stretch my Imagination), a Cardz TV stamp for the sentiment and a Recollections heart gem.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes Monthly challenge over at Crafts Galore.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back soon.

Boo

Hello Saturday, I'm back today sharing another greeting card; I think I need to take some time this weekend and get some cards ready to go postal.  Today's card share was created for the #craftydares challenge over on IG hosted y @tellhimthanku.  The dares for this week were: leaves, a face and a vegetable/fruit.  So I pulled out a very old I think Recollections stamp and die set and put this Boo! card together!  I am sharing this card for the Shopping Our Stash #507 - Halloween  and Use Your Stuff #495 - Autumn Mood Board.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon!

Happy Halloween

Happy Friday and hello weekend, doing a quick drive by post as I should be getting ready for work.  Today's card share is a one created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #728.  I created this card for the kickoff of the craftydares season over on IG.  I rarely do Halloween so I didn't have much in my stash so I used a candy corn file from the Silhouette design store, another one of the dares was non-traditional colors I decided to go with pastels/soft colors.  I used mostly paper scraps that were just sitting around waiting to be used, stamped the sentiment with some TH distress ink and added some pearls and this card was done!

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon!

Hello Thursday, I stated this post yesterday and since the day didn’t go as planned I didn’t finish.  My mom has started  her  82 trip around the sun and  and it is not easy, she is not well; pray for my family.happy.  I'm sharing one of the cards that I created  for her using sketch inspiration from one of Pagemaps card sketches.  I used CTMH papers, a Momenta alphabet die set, a stamped sentiment and some enamel hearts. This card came together nicely even though I had to deconstruct it and put it back together again!

CIU #288 - Favorite Color(s)

Happy Friday, time isn’t slowing down!  Today’s card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #288 is Favorite Color(s)  and I used both of my mine!

Thiscard is my third take on this project and I have mixed feelings about it. This super  quick, clean and simple card was created using some Recollections 110 pound paper for the base and the purple layer was cut using a  De'sire by Crafter’s Companion create-a-card die.  This die has been in my stash for years but this was my first time using it.  I finished the card by adding a few gems and my purple and red card was done!

Now that you’ve seen my card I hope you will visit then Cut it  Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your project using your favorite color(s) and a die. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe as you enjoy the weekend.  Hurry back soon.
