Tuesday Musings

Hello and happy cold Tuesday, doing a drive by post to share another card.  I used sketch inspiration from card sketch #214 from Sketch N Scrap, paper from the My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose 6x6 paper pad.  I stamped and cut the flower using an old set from my stash,   The sentiment is from a Woodware stamp set and the gems are from Crafter's Square.  This card took lots of turns because it uses mostly pattern papers, I finally had to just finish it and it is going postal today.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon.

CIU #248 - Spring

Hello and happy Friday, welcome to the start of the weekend!  Today's card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #248 is Spring and the sponsor is Taylored Expressions.

Let me start off by saying I love this Spring Spray flower and die from  our challenge sponsor,   I stamped the flower, and colored it with some old Stampin Up markers, the paper is also from Stampin Up. Finished the card by adding a few Hero Arts pearls and a sticker for the sentiment.  I like how this card came together and can't wait to use this stamp and die again!

Now that you've seen my project, head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog to see more design team projects.  Create and share your Spring project using a die for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from Taylored Expressions.  The challenge starts today and ends, Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend; stay safe and hurry back.

She’s a Big Girl Now

Hello and happy Monday and the second day of Spring! I am doing a quick drive by post to share a LO that I put together using sketch inspiration from one of this month’s PageMaps sketches.  I used miscellaneous papers from my stash and a picture of Baby Girl taken at her birthday luncheon earlier this year. I used a sticker for the title, sticker embellishments, a few dies, and some twine.  Another clean and simple LO, for me it’s the picture and this marks my tenth LO for this year which means I have met my first quarter goal!

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Hello and happy Friday, today's project share is my design team project for the latest Cut it Up challenge. The theme for challenge #246 is Women+s History and the sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

I have been in women’s history mode all month so I decided to put together a layout, I wasn’t able to finish my original idea.  I used paper from an old Recollections pad, pictures from the internet, dies to cut the tag and flag, stamps.  The main sentiment is the focal point so I only added a few embellishments, the you are strong stamp is from the sponsors’s Calm & Loving stamp set.

Now that you’ve seen my project I hope you will visit the  Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration.  We would love for you to create and share your Women’s History project for a chance win a stamp from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.  The challenge starts to today and ends Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at noon.

Brothers

Hello and happy Wednesday, another nice weather day in the forecast.  Today's drive by post is a recently completed LO using a picture of my dad and two of his brothers taken last year while we were attending a memorial service for one of our family members that passed due to covid.  Some of the paper and embellishments came from a family themed kit that I picked up in Hobby Lobby.  The enamel hearts and gems have been in my stash for a long time and I added the journaling after I took the picture.  I have a goal of completing at least 40 layouts this year, this is my 8th LO so I am off to a good start just two more to meet the 10 layouts per quarter!

Thank you for your visit and hurry back soon!
