Wednesday Musings

 

Hello and happy Wednesday, we just may get a break from the rain in our area today!  i need the rain to hold off so I can get a nice walk in, I need to get in at least three miles to meet my monthly goal!  Today's project share is a scrapbook layout created using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap  11th Birthday Bash sketch #2.  The base came from a real old Recollections paper pad, the pattern papers cam from a Me & My Big Ideas pack, I cut the camera with my SLICE machine, the sentiment and heart came from a sticker pack that has been in my stash for a long time.  Finished by adding a few enamel dots and a sticker for the sub-title.

Making Lemonade

 

Hello and happy Sunday, when life give you lemons you made lemonade!  Today's card share was created using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin' on Tuesday #607 and papers from the Recollections When Life Gives You Lemons 12x12 paper pad,  I used a Cottage Cutz Stitched Wonky die set,  a Sparkle & Co stamp set for the lemon and for the sentiment I used a stamp and die set from Alina Crafts; finished the card by adding some gold thread behind the sentiment!

Happy Friyah

Hello and happy Friyah, the start to a holiday weekend.  Today's card share is one that was created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #708, papers from the Simple Stories Let's Party paper pack; I even used a cut apart for the sentiment!  The circle and number was cut using a Spellbinders die set, finished the card by adding a Paper Studio star gem.  This card will be going postal tomorrow  as requested by a member of a FB group.  Still working to declutter and use my stash; I hope to get some layouts completed this weekend.

Wednesday Musings

 

Hello and happy Wednesday; I really need time to slow down!  Today's project share is a card using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #526.  I used mostly scraps of paper but the green stripe piece is from Stampin' Up. This was the first time I used the flower stamp, it is a Brutus Monroe stamp that I colored with alcohol markers, the sentiment is a stamp that has been in my stash for many  years.  I used a stitched circle die, added a few gems and it was done and going postal soon. I'm sharing this card over at  Happy Little Stampers for their  Anything Goes With a Die

Congrats

 Hello and happy Sunday, grateful for another chance to do and be better.  Today's project share is a graduation card that I put together using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #707.  For the layers I used  papers from my scrap stash; the pattern paper, and gemstones are from Paper Studio and the sentiment was cut using the Spellbinders Smooth Lines Mix & Match Sentiments die set.  This may be the only graduation card that I have to make this year!

CIU #278 - Send Me Flowers

 

Hello Friday, welcome to the weekend.  Today's project share is my latest design team  project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #278 is Send Me Flowers.  When putting my card together I used sketch inspiration from a YT video, I cut the hand using a My Favorite Things die, cut the flowers using a Spellbinders die,  and another die for the sentiment.  Finished the card by adding a few gems that was gifted to me. Another signature clean and simple card done and ready to go postal! I'm sharing this card for the The Outlawz no stamp challenge.

Birthday Greetings

Hello and happy Tuesday, today cloudy skies and rain in today's forecast in our area.  Today's project share is a birthday card using sketch inspiration Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge #606. On Saturday,   I went to a crop with a local group of scrappers and this was the "make and take" that we were given; I decided to take mine home as I was working on something else and I also decided to alter mine a little.  I wanted to use the sneaker die that I had recently received.  I am still trying to figure out the laces, it will always be a work in progress.  We were  given the card base, doily, sentiments and a stamped image to color (I will use it later).  I just used some pattern papers from the DCWV Indian Summer paper stack and a few diamond dotz.  I am also sharing this card for the Use Your Stuff challenge #484 - Use a Technique, I inked the edges and used a multi-layer diecut.

Friday Musings

 Hello weekend, doing a quick drive by post to share another card. When putting this card together I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap  card sketch #241, papers from the Paper Studio Brushy Floral 6x6 paper pad, a Crafter’s Companion flower die, stamped sentiment and a Recollections gem.  I really like how this card came out, may use this sketch again soon.

Mother's Day

 Hello and Happy Tuesday, doing a quick drive by post to share another Mother's Day card.  I created the card using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts Sketch #524,  more papers from the Michael's Sparkleberry Ink collection, trying to finish it.  I used a punch and die to cut the flags, stamped the sentiment and finished the card by adding a few gems.  I am racing to get my cards in the mail by tomorrow in hopes that they will arrive on time!  I am also sharing this card for the She's a Lady challenge #496 over at Shopping Our Stash.

Hello and happy Sunday evening as NSD weekend is winding down.  Today I'm doing a quick drive by post to share a card created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #705, pattern papers from Honey Bee Stamps Bee Bliss 6x6 paper pad, a wildflower cut with a Sizzix die, a Studio G stamp for the sentiment and an unbranded die for the window.  I feel like I have been busy all weekend but I don't feel like I got enough done.

CIU #277 - Ribbons and Bows

 

Hello Friday and Happy Cinco de Mayo!  Today's project share is  my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #277 is Ribbons and Bows.  I created my card using inspiration from a YT video while searching for some inspiration using the bow die since this was my first time using the die.  I have so many items in my stash that I haven't used ; I need to get in the practice of using my stash as soon as I purchase them.  I used the Tim Holtz  Sizzix Bowtied Colorize Die set for the bow (I didn't use the tails)  and a circle die set for the circles that I used to create the background on the card base. I used Recollections silver foiled card stock and DCWV Glitzzy Pastel paper stack for the circles.  I finished the card by adding a small tag with a stamped sentiment.

Tuesday Musings

 Hello Tuesday night, doing a quick drive by post to share another Mother’s Day card.  I put this clean simple card together using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday sketch #604,  pattern papers from Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush 6x8 paper pad.  Cut the flags using a Sizzix die, stamped the sentiment with a Studio G stamp and added  two brads from my stash and this card was done. The card came out cute but I think the bold print in the paper overpowers the flags.
