Family

Hello and happy Friday, sunny skies right now but may rain again this evening.  It's the weekend and I'm hoping to get some more organizing done.  I'm doing a driveby post today as I meant to share this LO yesterday but as life would have it I didn't.  This LO is actually a redo of one that I worked on at crop that I attended last month, I just need to add the journaling.  The LO uses pictures taken last August at a family gathering hosted by my mom, glad I documented this one as I'm not sure how many more events we'll have like this one.  Everything used has been in my stash for a while, I cut the tree using the April Showers cricut cartridge.  I'm sharing this LO for the Anything Goes Challenge #371 over at Die Cuttin' Divas and the Anything Goes Challenge #50 over at Cardz TV. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

A New Home

Hello Thursday, today I am sharing a card that I put together to send to my brother-in-law.  He recently purchased his first house so I wanted to send him some happy mail before all the bills started to roll in.  I told him that his house will be the party house since he has a pool!  I'm sharing this card for this week's Super Scraps challenge over at Hiding in my Craft Room.    I cut the house using the April Showers cricut cartridge, embossed the roof with a sizzix folder, punched the butterflies with a MS punch, added a  tree that was unused from another project, a little bling and the card was done!

Take care.

Gone Fishing

Hello and Happy Sunday, today's project is one that I created for a photo prop!  Yesterday my daughter, one of her BFFs and I along with seven other family members went on an afternoon fishing trip.  My FIL coordinated the fishing trip to celebrate one of nephew's 12th birthday.  Let's just say it will be the first and last fishing trip for me and my daughter.  Overall the day went pretty well but the fish weren't biting the water was rough and my daughter couldn't stomach it.  I made the sign using cuts from the Cricut April Showers and Create a Friend cartridge.
