Thinking of You

Hello and happy cloudy Thursday, rain in today's forecast.  Congratulations to the Washington Nationals for winning the world series!  I'm stopping in to do another quick drive by post of a card that I put together last night and has gone postal this morning to someone battling cancer.   I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap World Card Making Day Sketch #2, papers from the Amy Tangerine Sunshine & Good Times 6x6 paper pad, a Crafter's Companion die for the butterfly and a few Queen & Co. candy dots, they have been in my stash for years.  I'm also sharing this card for the Cardz TV Anything Goes challenge #101.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll come back tomorrow see my latest design team project.

Wednesday Wanderings

Hello and happy rainy Wednesday afternoon, doing a quick drive by post of another encouragement card created using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap World Card Making Day 2019 #3.  I used more papers, ephemera and a cut apart from the Jen Hadfield  My Bright Life collection.; the enamel dot is from Recollections.  Just like that another card created and ready to go postal, I love when my cards come together without a lot of fuss and stress.    I am sharing this card for Time Out challenges #147.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.

Thankful & Blessed

Hello and happy Monday, sunny skies and mild temps in today's forecast.  Today I am sharing another fall themed card using sketch inspiration from Mojo Monday 526, papers from my stash and a cut apart and pattern piece from the  Echo Park Fall in the Air kit. I inked card base edges, added a few Bo Bunny gems and this card was done!  I am currently in a Fall/Thanksgiving card mode so that is what I'll be sharing for the next few weeks with a few random LOs.  I'm sharing this card for the Love to Craft #39 October Anything Goes challenge.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.

Hello and happy Sunday, doing a quick drive by post as I need to get ready for church.  Today's project share is a card created yesterday using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts #339.   I used more papers and the cut apart for the sentiment from the Simple Stories 6x6 Hello Fall paper pad and a few gems and this card was done.  I made the card during our monthly crop where we did a fall card exchange.  I am also sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #101 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon.

Hello

Happy Saturday, today I am headed to the monthly crop with the RVA Scrappers; can you believe that there was actually two crops today so there  probably won't be too many scrappers in attendance. I am sharing a quick drive by  post of a card that I created as part of a swap.  I used sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap #156,  more paper from the Bo Bunny Beautiful Brisk 6x6 paper pad, Darice die for the tree, a few Ki Memories by Hampton Arts gems and a  K&Co stamp for the sentiment.  We were to create a Fall or Halloween themed card and I was paired with someone that requested a Fall card, I hope she liked it!

Thank you for your visit, enjoy the rest of your weekend.

CIU #185 - Ghosts, Goblins and Ghouls

Hello and happy Friday, seasonal temps in today's forecast.  Today I am sharing my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog, the theme is Ghosts, Goblins and Ghouls and the sponsor is Stinkin Cute Paper Piercings.

This was another one of those themes that was a struggle for me since I really don't do Halloween.  I decided to look through some of my Cricut cartridges and Silhouette files for a little inspiration.  My project includes a treat bag and a card;  the bag is a file from the Silhouette online store and the ghost on the card  was cut using the 3 Birds on Parade Cricut cartridge.  After I decided what I wanted to do the project came together nicely (I think) and I used items that have been in my stash for a long time. First time using the Darice falling dots embossing folder, not sure whether you can see it on the card!

I hope you will stop by the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration and decide to share your Ghosts, Goblins and Ghouls project for a chance to win some crafting goodness from Stinkin Cute Paper Piercings.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday,  October 30, 2019 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Thank You

Hello and happy Thursday afternoon, cool and windy after yesterday's rain.  Today I am doing a quick drive by post to share a card that I put together using inspiration from one of the monthly FB challenges from Sketch and Scrap.  I am getting ready for a little weekend getaway so I am trying to get as much done as possible.  I am happy to report that used more of the Jen Hadfield paper and epherma which really makes for some clean and simple cards.  I really like this 6x6 paper pad so I might even buy the 12x12 pad for LOs even though I really don't need anymore paper!

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return tomorrow for my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.

Girls Rule

Hello and happy sunny Tuesday, mild temps in today's forecast after a cool morning.  Today's project share is a another LO completed for my daughter.  I think it looks better in person, hard to photograph the foil paper.  The pattern papers are from a Paper Studio Be Bold Be Bright paper pad, I cut the title using the Cricut George cartridge and the silhouettes and tag are files from the Silhouette online store. Although I don't care for the limited amount of space I think I'll be making mostly 8 1/2 x 11 LOs for Baby Girl while she's in college.  I'm sharing this LO for the Anything Goes challenge #100 over at Cardz TV and challenge #39 over at Love to Craft challenge blog.

Thanks for your visit, hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

Saturday Musings

Hello and happy Saturday, it is cool right now but the forecast calls for mild temps today.  I am currently visiting my daughter for family weekend and since I was busy all week I didn't really have time to share.  Yesterday was my mother's birthday and since I put her card in the mail without taking a picture I didn't prepare a post to share which was my original intention.  Today I am sharing a card that I put together this morning using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #524.  When I arrived here in Harrisonburg I stopped at Tuesday Morning looking for a gift but I wind up buying crafting goodness instead.  So today's card uses some of what I purchased, paper and ephemera from the Jen Handfield My Bright Life collection.  The Recollections gems are a part of my stash that I keep in my car.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #100 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hello and happy Tuesday, cloudy and rain sprinkles in our area today.  Did you know today is National Salmon Day, and it is one of my favorite things to eat!  Today's project share is my weekly spread from my happy planner.  I went to the Planning a Better me Retreat a few weeks ago and I decided I needed to use my planner more especially since I have lots of planner stuff too!  Just like my scrapbooking style my planning is clean and simple too, couldn't a very good picture.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon.

You Warm my Heart

Good afternoon, I am doing a quick driveby post to share another post and card using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin' on Tuesday #427.  The pattern papers came from the Heidi Swapp Favorite Things 6x6 pad, I think it's time to use up these papers and toss or get rid of the ones that I don't really like.  I'm such a paper hoarder I hate tossing paper.  I used a Fiskars stamp for the sentiment and an unbranded die for the cup.  I am not a coffee drinker but I love hot chocolate and flavored tea! I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #99 over at Cardz TV.

Take care and enjoy your weekend.
