Cut it Up #159 - Just in CASE

Hello and happy Friday, seasonal temps in our area today.

Today I'm back tto share my design team project for Cut it Up, the theme for challenge #159 is Just in CASE, case another crafter's project.  I had a hard time trying to decide what to do for this challenge. So I finally decided to make a card; my project is Pinterest inspired and can be found here:

The original card used acorns but I decided to use leaves on my card. For my project,  I chose to use the Fall Leaf Party Pennant  from My Scrap Chick along with some pattern paper from the Craft Smith Pumpkin Spice paper pad, some twine and stickles.  I used my Cameo to cut the pennant and the Winter Wonderland Cricut cartridge to cut the word greetings.

Now that you've seen my project I hope you'll head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration and decide to CASE and share a project for a chance to win a $20 store credit from My Scrap Chick.   The challenge starts today and ends on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Monday Musings

Hello and happy Monday, mild temps in the forecast today with cooler temps later in the week.  I'm back today to share holiday card created for the October challenge over at CAS Christmas Card, the theme for this month is birds.  I decided to pull out my Sizzix  Bigz TH Alterations Christmas Cardinal die, this is one that I've never used and it has been in my stash for a few years.   I used a WeR Memory Keepers embossing folder and added the panel to the card base with some dimensional tape.  This is one of the few times where the card came out as I had originally visioned!

Thank you for your visit, I hope you have a wonderful week.

Tuesday Musings

Hello and happy Tuesday, seasonal temps on the horizon.  Today I am sharing the second card that I created for World Card Making Day 2018.  I used sketch inspiration from card sketch #131 over at Sketch N Scrap.  Although I used one of their regular sketches they have additional sketches that they will be sharing all month for WCMD.   The pattern sheet of came from the My Minds Eye Hey Mister paper pad and the enamel dots are from Paper Studio.   I am trying to add more male themed cards to my stash but this one didn't make it since my husband said he needed it as I was putting it together!  I think I may do a marathon male card making session with that pad.

Pool Fun

Hello and happy Sunday, I am back to share my latest LO.  I used pictures taken of baby girl floating in the pool the day after her baptism.  My BIL has a pool in his back yard so we always have an open invitation to have a pool party.  I just pulled some papers from my stash and looked at several LOs for inspiration but decided to just do my own thing!  I used some Colorbok letters for the title and a Spellbinders die for the sun.  I used the Life's a Beach and Forever Young Cricut cartridges to cut the flip flops, bikini and sunglasses.  I am sharing this LO for the Stripes Please challenge over at Southern Girls Challenge and the Anything Goes Challenge #68 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you will return soon.

Cut it Up #158 - Halloween

Hello and happy Friday, seasonal temps and the possibility of rain in today's forecast.

I am back today to share my latest design team project for Cut it Up, our theme for this challenge is Halloween and our sponsor is Dreaming Tree.  You will finds lots of 3-D files and inspiration on their site, I chose to use the Jack-O-Lantern Tea Light and it is one of their free files.  I just pulled mostly scrap papers from my stash and cut the different layers with my Silhouette Cameo and I used a tealight candle that I purchased from Dollar Tree last year.  I watched their YT video on putting the holder together, I even pulled out my quilling tool and it came together quickly.

Head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration from the design team and create your own Halloween project and share it for a chance to win a gift certificate from Dreaming Tree.  The challenge starts today and ends on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at noon EST.

Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

Hamilton

Hello and happy warm Wednesday, more sunny skies and warm temps in today's forecast for our area.  Today I am sharing a another LO from my daughter's senior year, last month she went to Washington, DC to see Hamilton.  I was so excited that I wanted to tag along, but they didn't need any parent chaperones.  The school she attends received a grant that afforded the students taking History and or Government the opportunity to attend after they submitted a project.  Since the playbill cover and the ticket stub took up the majority of the page I didn't need to add too many other elements to the page.  A picture of baby girl, a small tag and a few wood veneer stars and this memory was documented!  I'm sharing this LO over at Cardz TV for the Anything Goes Challenge #67.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon.

Super Quick Treat Holder

Hello and happy Monday, I am doing a quick post; I meant to post this yesterday but as life would have it I didn't get to share.  The sun is shining and the forecast calls for temps in the lower 80s.  It looks like fall has taken over my blog  I was watching one of  MayMay's  older YT videos and decided to make this super quick treat holder, I did make some size adjustments to accommodate the treat that I was using.  The leaf pattern paper was some scraps from last year's Fall projects and I think I picked it up in HL so it is probably Paper Studio.  I cut the leaf using a Darice die, stamped a sentiment, used some ribbon and twine and this project was done!  I will probably make a different variation of this for my co-workers.  I'm sharing this super simple project for the Fall colors challenge # over at Die Cuttin' Divas and challenge #372 - Freestyle over at Hiding in my Craft Room.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.  I will be sharing the winner of my blog candy from our Cut it Up Fall blog hop.
