Thank You

Hello and happy Wednesday, its so cold outside and I don't feel like doing what I need to do!  Today I am doing a quick driveby afternoon share, I made this card for one of the challenges for an online crop hosted on FB by Sketch N Scrap.  I used papers and flowers from a prize package that I won so I am not sure of the company or the name of the paper pad.  I cut the sentiment using the Sizzix Celebrate Thinlit dies, the tag is one that had been previously cut so I just covered it with more paper.  Some twine and dimensional tape for the tag and this card was done!  I'm sharing this card for challenge #349 -  thank you challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.  Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, I hope you are enjoying time with family and friends.  I am sitting here having some downtime and decided to share.  I am feeling so blessed as I had a surprise visit from my son which is just what I needed.  Today I am sharing my holiday wreath, it is actually a redo of one that I has previously done.  I decided to remove the lights and add the acorns and silver berries.  I am sharing this for challenge #434, which is their annual Anything Goes Challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you will return soon.

Happy Birthday Danita

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today's card is one that I created for another one of my  crafting BFFs, you can see her wonderful projects on her blog  Danita's Designs.  Another one of my signature simple cards,  it has gone postal and I hope it makes it to her today!  I am also happy to report that I used my Spellbinders cupcake die for the first time, it had 't been in my stash as long as the tree die!   I used paper from the My Minds Eye Paris & Co 6x6 paper pad, Recollections glittered and foil paper, an unbranded stamp for the sentiment and a border punch and this card was done.  Take care and let the weekend fun begin!

Sunday Musings

Hello and happy Sunday, doing another quick driveby post.  We had some weekend snow so there are still some closings today.   My daughter and I went out yesterday to a planning meet-up at the library and then spent some time with my MIL.  I ran out to JoAnns last night to find out they had closed early because the snow which was not the case with other stores!  Today I am sharing a card created using sketch inspiration with a twist from  Clean & Simple Stamping.  I used papers and bits and pieces from the Simple Stories Classic Christmas collection; I picked them up fromTuesday Morning after seeing a YT video.  I am not sure the picture comes the card justice.  Thank you for your visit, I hope you will visit again soon.

Joy to the World

Good evening, I am back today for my second post as I made several cards over the weekend and I wanted to share them before I get too busy!  The sketch inspiration for this card came from Tuesday Morning Sketches #341 and the papers are from the Doodlebug Santa Express pad, I just may finish this paper pad this year!  The lace washi is some that I've had in my stack for a while along with the Recollections pearls.  The sentiment is from the CAS-ual Fridays Christmas Carols stamp set, stamped with gold Delicata ink.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #23 over at Cardz TV.  Take care and I hope you'll visit again soon.

Merry & Bright

Hello Sunday, cool temps this morning and I am doing a driveby post.  Today I am sharing a card that I started last Sunday and didn't finish until right at midnight last night.  I don't know why I started and finished others before this one!  Sketch inspiration for this card came from the  Fall to Layout #44 from Clean & Simple Stamping.  I used more paper from the Doodlebug Santa Express paper pad,  die cuts from the Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge,  and some ribbon.  The sentiment used is one of the stamps from the CTMH Artfully Sent set.  I hope you will come back again soon, wishing you and yours a wonderful week.

Thinking of You

Hello again, can you believe it two posts in one day!   I really need to crank out some LOs as I will be lucky if I make the half way point of my challenge and I certainly won't complete the card challenge either.  Oh well there's always next year!  Today's card was created using pattern paper that I received as a gift, so I don't know any specifics, the flowers were cut using the Silhouette cameo (I really need to use it more often).   I am sharing this card for sketch #350 from Try Stampin' on Tuesday  and the Thinking of You challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon.
