Feel Better Soon

Hello and happy Sunday, the weekend is almost over but the kids are on Spring Break so maybe our week won't be so hectic.  Today's card was created using inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch #309, paper scraps from my stash and the Jillibean Saffron Yellow Pepper Soup 6x6 paper pad. I used a  CTMH stamp for the sentiment, an unbranded stitched oval die and a Sizzix bow die.  Another card done and ready to go postal!

Take care and come back again soon.

I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #86 over at Cardz  TV.

A Huge Hug

Hello and happy Wednesday, it is sunny and cold in our area today.  I'm back to share another drive by post and another one of my lunch box series cards.  Today's card share uses inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #496.  When I saw this sketch I decided I wanted to use one of my Sizzix Flip-it Framelit die by Stephanie Barnard which have been sitting unused for years.  I used papers from the My Mind's Eye A Happy Heart 6x6 paper pad, a Fiskars stamp for the sentiment and a MS butterfly punch.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #85 over at CardzTV.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful Wednesday!

Hello Friday, welcome to the weekend.  Today's  project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #170 is flowers and our sponsor is Scrappy Dew Creations.

When putting my card together I used paper from my scraps stash, a wood grain embossing folder, a small flower die and the flower bear from Scrappy Dew.  I decided not to add a sentiment to the outside of the card.

Now that you've seen my card, I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration and decide to create and share your flower project for a chance to win some crafting goodies from Scrappy Dew.  The challenge starts today and ends, Wednesday, April 2, 2019 at noon EST.

World Sleep Day

Hello and happy Friday, warm temps in the forecast for today.  It's World Sleep Day and I am sleepy, still trying to adjust to the time change.   Today's card share uses  sketch inspiration from  Tuesday Morning Sketches #494.  The pattern papers came from the Well Hello paper pad, used an unbranded stitched square die, a Studio G stamp, some Stickles (not sure you can see them in the picture), and some Queen & Co. embellishments.  This is one of those cards where I have mixed feelings about the end result, can't change it now!  Last Friday was my MIL's birthday and I forgot to share her card and today's card is for my co-worker Ella who is celebrating her birthday today!  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #85 over at Cardz TV and Friday Fun Day Friday challenge #273 over at Jo's Scrap Shack.

Wednesday Wanderings

Hello and happy hump day, sunny skies and mild temps in today's forecast.  I really wanted to post yesterday but my life and time right now is really challenging!  I decided to try this after watching Jennifer McGuire's  Stamped Shaker Cards YT video yesterday and was  pleased with the outcome with the exception of my coloring.  I really need to find some time to just practice so until then my coloring is still a work in progress, I was gifted a blending pencil; not sure if I used it correctly.   The stamp and die set that I used was one that I picked up from ACMoore, it is their Love Nicole brand, I cut the leaf with some shimmery paper and used some Recollections glass beads and sequins glitter inside the shaker.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #84 over at Cardz TV and #32 over at Love to Craft.

Thank you for your visit, have a wonderful Wednesday.

Cut it Up #169 - Hello Spring

Hello and happy Friday more cool temps and a forecast for afternoon showers in our area.  Today I am sharing my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #169 is Hello Spring and our sponsor is The Cutting Cafe.

I put my card together using the tulips from the tulip shaped card set, if you get the set it comes with shaped cards too but I decided to use my own base.  If you are familiar with The Cutting Cafe you know that most of the files includes layers and card sentiments. I used paper scraps  from my stash, pattern papers are from the MS Essentials Holiday 12x12 paper pad, and I finished the card off by adding a Recollections ladybug sticker.

Now that you've seen my card I hope you'll visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration and decide to create and  share a Spring project using a die cut for a chance to win some cutting files from The Cutting Cafe.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at noon EST

Paper Rosettes

Hello Friday and happy March!  Rain and cold temps  in today's forecast but no rain and warmer temps tomorrow.  Doing a quick drive by post to share another card; last week I started creating paper rosettes, watched YT and decided to order a die set.   The card above uses one of the dies, paper from the Craft Smith Harvest Boutique12x12 paper pad and a stamped sentiment.  I have decided I need more practice with creating rosettes manually as I have mixed feelings about the TH thinlit dies.   I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #84 at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, have a wonderful weekend.
