Hello Tuesday, just two days away from Thanksgiving and I am just getting my cards in the mail. I just can't seem to catch up, too much to do. Today I am sharing a card that I put together using inspiration from sketch #347 from Try Stampin' on Tuesday. Paper from my scraps, a stamped sentiment and an acorn cut using the Fall Celebrations Cricut cartridge and this card was done. I am also sharing this for the Anything Goes Challenge #22 over at Cardz TV. Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours s terrific Tuesday.
Hello and happy Monday, are you excited and ready for Thanksgiving? Today I am doing a driveby post as I need to get ready for work so I can run an errand before I take baby girl to school and go into work. Today's card is one that I put together usuing sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #238, I didn't realize until now that the link has closed! The pattern paper is from the Jillibean Soup Saffon Yellow Pepper Soup paper pad and the tulip bunch is a cut from the Silhouette store. This card was created and is going postal for someone that submitted a request to the FB card angel group. Take care and enjoy your holiday week.
Hello and happy Sunday, the start of another week. I meant to share this card yesterday but of course I just didn't have time. We were out before 9 am and in and out until well past midnight, I am down to the wire trying to finish and get my cards in the mail by tomorrow. Today's card uses skerch inspiration from sketch #429 from Tuesday Morning Sketches. I used embossed paper from the Craft Smith Fall pad and the pattern paper from the Pumpkin Spice both hot buys from last year. The leaf is a Darice die, cut the scallop border with Accent Essentials cricut cartridge and a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment. I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #21 over at Cardz TV. Thank you for your visit and I hope you will come back soon.
Hello and happy Friday, seasonal temps and lots going on as usual. I'm back today to share a card created for the third Christmas Card challenge over at Soul Scrappers. The challenge is to add the word Christmas to your card. If you're looking for some inspiration and challenges you should visit their site. I started this card with the sentiment that I pulled from my stash from last year, used more pattern paper from the American Crafts Hot Cocoa paper pad, cut the ornament with the CTMH Artiste cricut cartridge, added some sequins and the card was done. Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hello Thursday, forecast call for seasonal temps in the low 60s today. I'm back today to share a card that I created recently for someone that suffered the loss of a love one. I used more paper from the American Crafts Garden Party paper pad, a doily from Studio G, a Hero Arts die and stamp set and some Recollections heart gems. I hope knowing that others are lifting them in prayer provides some comfort. Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon.
Hello happy Monday, the weekend just isn't long enough. A busy home and work life makes it hard to have a lot of downtime sometimes. I am trying to get in the holiday mood but for some reason I haven't felt up to it. I am back today to share another super simple card that I put together using the November card sketch from Stick it Down. The pattern paper came from the American Crafts Hot Cocoa 6x6 paper pad and I cut the bow with one of my unbranded dies, stamped the sentiment and this card was done! Wishing you and yours a wonderful week, hope you will visit again soon.
Happy Saturday, cold outside just doing a quick driveby post. Today I am sharing a card that I put together using sketch #109 from Sketch N Scrap. I was lucky enough to be randomly selected to win their monthly prize for one of the cards that I shared last month! Today's card came together rather nicely as I continue to shop my stash of supplies. The pattern paper is from Recollections, the doily from the JoAnns ms sparkle & co line and I cut the tree using my Silhouette cameo. The sentiment stamp is from the CTMH Artfully Sent cricut bundle; a gift from Cheryl, another one of my scrappin' besties! I am on a roll so I hope you'll come back again soon.
Hello and happy Friday, looking forward to some downtime this weekend or rather maybe not. Next week is homecoming at my daughter's school and we still need to shop. Oh well such is life we just have to make the best of it. Today I am sharing a card that I made using inspiration from this month's sketch #342 over at Die Cuttin' Divas. I used papers from the Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 paper pad, stamped, heat embossed and cut the flowers using a stamp and die set that I picked up on clearance from Hobby Lobby sometime ago. I threw away the packaging but I think it may have been something exclusive to HL by Richard Garay, the founder of Fun Stampers Journey. A few enamel dots and a stamped sentiment completed this card that will be going postal to one of the FB card angels. I will also share this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #20 over at Cardz TV. Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.
Hello Thursday, more cold weather for us. Today I am sharing some cards that I created for the FB card angel group or rather it was requested by one of its members. The request was posted last week for kid cards so I spent some time over the weekend putting these 10 signature simple cards together. I used a of variety papers, stickers, die cut embellishments and stamps for the sentiments. I like how they came out and I was able to use some stuff from my stash, used the bike die and reindeer stamp for the first time! Take care and I hope you'll come back again soon.
Hello and happy Wednesday, it's cold outside and we have sprinkles of rain in our forecast today. I am back today sharing a card that I created this morning using sketch inspiration from sketch #55 over at Paper Play Sketches. It is bittersweet because this is their final sketch so I wanted to make sure I participated as I have enjoyed the sharing and inspiration! When putting the card together I used papers from the MS Essentials paper pad, cut the poinsettia using the Joys of the Season cricut cartridge and some Recollections gems for the center. I will also share this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #20 over at Cardz TV. Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.
Hello Tuesday, cloudy and rainy in our area today. Although I have a lot going on I decided to vote before work! Today I am sharing a thank you card created using sketch inspiration from Fall to Layout #41 from Clean & Simple Stamping. I used a kraft card base, paper from my stash of scraps, hemp cord, a circle punch, cut the leaf with my SLICE and a CTMH stamp for the sentiment. I am sharing this card for the thank you challenge over at Cut it Up and the Anything Goes Challenge #19 over at Cardz TV. Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon.
Hello and happy Friday, nice temps in the forecast today. I'm back today sharing a child themed birthday card created for one of the challenges over at Soul Scrappers. If you are looking for some inspiration/challenges you may want to check their site. When putting this card together I chose more papers from my scrap stash and some of my neglected dies. I picked up the Sizzix Celebrations stitched speech bubble die from TM about two months ago and balloons are from my collection of unbranded dies. Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours an awesome weekend.
Hello and happy Thursday, I am so looking forward to the weekend. Warmer temperatures in today's forecast, this weather and my sinuses aren't in agreement. I am back today sharing another card that I created using another card from the World Card Making Day sketches from Sketch N Scrap. I didn't finish the card in time so I didn't share it on their page. I used mostly paper from my scrap stash, a Cardz TV stamp for the sentiment and leaves cut with the CTMH Aartist Cricut cartridge. I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #18 over at Cardz TV. Thank you for your visit, take care and have a great day.
Hello and happy Wednesday, cool fall temps in our area. I'm back today sharing the final cards from my One Sheet Wonder project. The paper came from one of the Michael's hot buy paper pads, stamped two of the sentiments and used my cricut and/SLICE to cut the other three. The flowers and gems have been in my stash forever, used a punch for the butterflies and my SLICE to cut the embellishment on the bottom right card. Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday.
