Hello Tuesday and Happy Halloween! Today I am sharing a card that I put together using sketch inspiration from Paper Play Sketches and die cuts from Gina Marie and the Mini Monsters cricut cartridge. I borrowed this cartridge from the school at my job, Halloween is the secretary's favorite holiday, she even takes the whole week off. The piece of pattern paper is from Pebbles and it was leftover from some cards I made two years ago. I am sharing this card for the Halloween challenges over at Use Your Stuff and Always Fun Challenges. I hope you will visit again soon.
Hello and happy Monday, we had lots of rain yesterday but we have cool temps and clear skies this morning. I am back today to share a LO created using sketch inspiration from the Double Delight Sketch challenge from Soul Scrappers. I had these pictures from an impromptu 50th birthday celebration for my husband so I decided to go ahead and scrap them. The burgundy paper has a faint pattern and it came from some papers that I purchased from Costco some years ago. I'm thinking I probably should have used a red patter paper instead. The stripped strip of paper came from some scraps from one of the DCWV stacks. I used a Heidi Swapp sticker for the title, enamel dots and the balloons were cut using the CTMH Artiste cricut cartridge. I have mixed feelings about the paper but I'm glad that I finally took the time to document the memory. Take care and have a marvelous Monday.
Hello Saturday, cool temps but sunny outside today. Today I am sharing a card that I put together using sketch inspiration from Operation Write Home after watching a video from craftwithte last Friday. I usually don't make Halloween cards but decided to make this one for several challenges. I used pattern paper for the MS Essentials paper pad, the Mini Monsters cricut cartridge, some Recollections glittered tape and a CTMH stamp for the sentiment. I am sharing this card for Challenge #340 - Halloween over at DIe Cuttin' Divas and the Any Holiday Challenge #324 over at Hiding in My Craft Room. Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.
Hello and welcome to the weekend, cool temps and rain in the forecast for Sunday. Today I am sharing my final card created using a sketch from the Fall Fun Crop hosted by Sketch N Scrap on FB. I used more pattern paper, the sentiment and gems from a breast cancer kit from Me & My Big Ideas. I cut the ribbon using a glittered piece of paper from my arsenal of paper scraps. I am sharing this card for the Think Pink challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays and the Anything Goes Challenge #18 over at Cardz TV. Thank you for your visit and I hope you will return soon.
Hello and happy Wednesday, another nice Fall day here in our area. I quickly became bored with the one sheet wonder process but I still plan to share at least five more of the cards that I created using that process. I usually use sketches for my cards and LOs and I am always looking for ways to use paper scraps and stick to my clean and simple style. I really need to get my Thanksgiving cards done and some LOs. Today I am sharing a card that I created for the Fall Fun Crop hosted by Sketch N Scrap on their FB page, I originally hoped to share all of the cards created for that crop together in one post but I'm not sure I will get the last one done. When putting this card together I used most everything from the Simple Stores Hello Fall kit with the exception of the heart (ruined the one that came with the kit) that I cut with the Beyond Birthdays cricut cartridge and the gems placed in the center of the flowers. Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.
Hello and happy Monday, we have rain in the forecast sometime in the next few days. I had a really productive weekend as I was able to complete several cards so I should have my blog posts covered for this week. Today I am sharing a card using sketch inspiration from sketch #2 from the World Card Making Day monthly challenge over at Sketch N Scrap. I used papers from the My Mind's Eye Honey Cake 6x6 paper pad, a Recollections sentiment stamp, a border punch, a flower cut with my SLICE machine and a button; all from my stash. I am also sharing this card for the button challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas. Take care and have a marvelous Monday!
Hello and happy Sunday another nice weather day in the forecast! I am back today to share a card that I put together using a die that I received as a birthday gift from one of my scrappin BFFs. So I used the Tutti Designs snow globe die for the first time, pulled out my fuse tool to make the shaker and even used one of my many embossing folders. Everything used to make this card has been in my stash for a while! I am sharing this card for the Shaker Card Challenge over at Cut it Up and the Anything Goes Challenge #17 over at Cardz TV. Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful week.
Hello and happy Friday, another cool Fall morning with warm temps in the forecast for the weekend. I'm hoping for some downtime but I do have several things on my calendar including the monthly planning event at Michael's on Sunday afternoon. Today I am sharing another thank you card using sketch inspiration from Clean & Simple Stamping and papers from the Simple Stories Hello Fall Kit. The sentiment stamp is from a Fiskars set that I picked up from JoAnn's on clearance over the the Summer. It's Wednesday afternoon, cool temps outside but warm inside. I'm back today with another installment of my One Sheet Wonder Cards. As I mentioned previously I made a total of 20 cards so I still have 10 more to share after today's post. I didn't add any embellishments with these, I just added some glimmer mist to the base and added a stamped or die cut sentiment. I cut the hello with the butterfly using the Lyrical Letters cricut cartridge and I used some gold Smooch to color the butterfly and the other hello die was from Crafter's Companion. Take care and I hope you'll come back again soon.
Hello Tuesday, mild temps and no rain in the forecast. Today I am sharing a get well card using inspiration from sketch #107 over at Sketch N Scrap. I used paper scraps from the My Mind's Eye Happier 6x6 paper pad, a CTMH stamp gifted to me Felisa (one of my scrappin' besties) and some Echo Park enamel dots. I made this card for one of my co-workers who recently had surgery. Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back tomorrow for another card share from my One Sheet Wonder project.
Hello Monday, it is almost 2:00 in the morning and everyone in the house is awake. So I decided to share a project that I worked on over the weekend. One of my friends sent me a video last week with the one of the One Sheet Wonder card templates so I decided to try it. There are different variations of the same concept on YT. I used one sheet of pattern paper, stamps, die cuts and misc. embellishments from my stash. This project used note cards smaller than the normal A2 size cards, I made twenty cards. Take care and have a wonderful week.
Hello and happy Friday, more rain in the forecast; not sure whether it's enough to help with the low levels. Today's card is one that I put together for breast cancer awareness month using sketch #243 from CAS(E). I used scraps of paper from my stash, added some glimmer mist to the card base, cut the ribbon with my SLICE machine and the CTMH cricut cartridge to cut the sentiment. I am sharing this card for the breast cancer awareness challenges over at Cut it Up and Use Your Stuff. Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.
Hello and happy Thursday, more rain in the forecast for today. Today's project share is a LO using sketch inspiration from the sketch #138 over at Sketch N Scrap. I love how this LO came out and I am happy to report it marks my 20th LO of the year but I still have 32 more to complete by the end of the year. I am even further behind on my card challenge but I'm just going to keep pushing. The papers used on the LO came from the DCWV Elegant & Serene hot buy pad, I cut the title using my SLICE machine, used a WeR Memory Keepers die for the doily, and the jean flowers are from Recollections and Nicole. Thank you for your visit, please come again soon.
Hello Tuesday, more nice temps with rain in the forecast this afternoon. I'm back today to share another card. Today's card used sketch inspiration from the World Card Making Sketch #1 from Sketch N Scrap, they will be celebrating all month with a new sketch each Saturday this month I used mostly scraps of paper from my stash, the pattern paper came from an old K&Co Specialty pad; the sentiment stamp is Hampton Arts and the cross die is a Jillibean Soup die. Take care and have a terrific Tuesday.
Hello and happy Monday, cloudy and rain in our area today. We still have rather mild temps so no need for jackets and long sleeves yet! Today I am sharing a card that I created using last week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. The paper, washi tape and epherma came from the Simple Stories Hello Fall collection and the Recollections wooden dots have been in my stash for a while. Hello and happy Sunday, I was so busy trying to create yesterday that I didn't take the time to post. I was up into the wee hours of the morning on google hangout with one of my scrappin BFFs. I ended my day by finishing four signature simple cards but she did manage to get more cards done! Today I am sharing a card that I created using this month's sketch over at Die Cuttin' Divas. I used more paper from the Jillibean Saffron Yellow Pepper Soup paper pad, the umbrella die from the April Showers cricut cartridge, a stamped sentiment from the Cardz TV Blessings set and some enamel dots.
