A Pizza My Heart

Hello and happy Wednesday; cold temps, clear skies and no rain in today's forecast!  Today's card share is another lunchbox greeting card created using sketch inspiration from Tuseday Morning Sketches #492 and paper from the My Mind's Eye Blink of  an Eye 6x6 paper pad.  I used one of the Recollections Valentine's Day stamp and die sets that I picked up on sale and it doesn't necessarily have to be used for Valentine''s day.  I colored the pizza using my Sargent Art colored pencils and glitter gel pens.  I really like how this card came out and I think it looks better in person because I added some glitter to the eyes after I took the picture!  I'm sharing this for the February Anything Goes challenge #31 over at Love to Craft Challenge Blog.

Thank you for your visit, hurry back!

Boxed Card Set

Hello and happy Monday afternoon, I'm back sharing my second post for today.  This is a quick drive by post as I was undecided whether I wanted to share this project or not.  I created this project over the weekend after watching Tmika's  YT video.  I am most pleased with how the box turned out, I used some 110 lb gray card stock for the bottom and some printed acetate for the top.  The acetate came from a 12x12 paper pad that has been in  my stash forever.  I made the four A2 sized cards using scraps of paper mostly from the Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 pad, stamps, circle and oval dies, gems, enamel dots and sequins for embellishments. In the video she used one sheet of double sided 6x6 paper but I decided to just use scraps instead of using a piece of double sided paper.  I'm sharing this for the RAK challenge #408 over at Die Cuttin' Divas. This set has already been gifted to one of my co-workers who is always asking for cards at the last minute!

Take care and I hope you'll return soon!

Love You to Pieces

Hello and happy Monday, wind and sun today but more rain in the forecast this week.  I had a relatively quiet weekend, of course I didn't get a lot done but I did get a few things marked off my to do list!  I even got to hang out for a few hours with the RVA Scrappers!

Today's project share is another lunchbox greeting for my daughter.  I used sketch inspiration from CAS(E) this sketch  #310,  paper scraps from my stash that included pattern paper from the Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 paper pad.  The stamped sentiment is from the Cardz TV Favorite Phrases stamp set and the typewriter was cut using a Firefly die.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #83 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you will return again soon.

Cut it Up #168 - Clovers (St. Patrick's Day)

Hello, happy Friday and let the weekend begin!  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog, our theme for challenge #168 is Clovers (St. Patrick's Day) and our sponsor is KittenScraps.

This is one of those projects where I struggled which means I have mixed feelings about it.  I used one of the mice from our sponsor's Irish Blessings Digi Stamp set.  I colored the mouse with coloring pencils, cut it out using a stitched rectangular die, used papers from the  DCWV All Year Round paper stack,  I  cut the sentiment using the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge and added a few sequins to finish the card.

Now that you've seen my project, I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration and decide to share your Clovers project for a chance to win a gift certificate from KittenScraps.  The challenge starts today and ends on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 12 noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon; wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Lunchbox Greetings

Hello and happy cloudy Thursday; no rain, snow or ice like yesterday!  I'm back today to share a quick driveby post as I was suppose to share yesterday but as life would have it I didn't get time.  Today's card is what I'm calling one of my lunchbox greetings, where I create inspirational notes and cards for my daughter's lunchbox.  I used sketch inspiration from Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge #395,  paper from an AC DIY Shop 6x6 paper pad, a Hampton Art sentiment stamp and  cut the bow using the Beyond Birthdays Cricut cartridge.  Finished the card by adding some wood veneer stars that I glittered!  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #83 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, hope you will come back soon.  I will be sharing my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog tomorrow.

Hugs & Kisses

Hello and happy sunny Wednesday, I'm back today to share a cute and simple card that I made for my daughter.  I hope she likes it  since she really doesn't care for pink!   I didn't use a sketch for inspiration just wanted to use the ladybug from the Create-a-Critter 2 cricut cartridge!  All the paper came from my scrap stash, the sentiment stamp is from an old Recollections Valentines Day stamp and die set.  I used a Crafter's Companion edge die and added a few Amy Tangerine enamel hearts and the card was done!  I'm sharing this card for the following challenges:

Bitten by the Bug 2 - Valentine Hearts
Die Cuttin' Divas - #407 Love
Use Your Stuff - #347 Hearts Pink/Red

Thank you for  your visit, hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and that you'll return soon.  I'll be sharing another Valentine's Day project tomorrow and on Friday we'll have a Cut it Up Sponsor Thank You blog hop.

Cut it Up #167 - Inspired by a Love Song

Hello and happy Friday, more mild temps in today's forecast. Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog and our theme for challenge #167 is Inspired by a Love Song.  Our sponsor for this challenge is Taylored Expressions.

My project was inspired by one of the songs by Whitney Houston from the Body Guard movie soundtrack; I think the song was originally written by Dolly Parton. I had one design in my head but just couldn't get it to come together so I had to do something different. I used a kraft colored base, the record is a file from the Silhouette Design store, the music notes came from the Groovy Times Cricut cartridge and the enamel hearts are from Recollections.

Please visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your inspired by a song project (don't forget to include a diecut) for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Taylored Expressions.  The challenge starts today and ends on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Happy 18th Birthday

Hello and happy warm Wednesday.  Happy 18th Birthday to our daughter, we have been celebrating all week!  This is one of the cards that I made for her and since I made it a few weeks ago I don't remember which paper pads I used.  I do know that I used unbranded dies for the number and some Recollections gold foil paper.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #82 over at Cardz TV and LTCCB #31.

A Blast From the Past

I am working on some LOs to be included in her high school album, I really need to get busy since June will be sooner rather than later!  She has grown up so fast, I'm wishing this little girl back as it seems life wasn't as complicated.

Thank you for your visit, hope you'll return soon!

Hello and happy February and first Friday, still cold but warmer temps in the weekend's forecast.  Today's project share is a card using inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #488.  I used pattern papers from the Recollections GirlSquad 6x6 paper pad, used the  Spellbinders Blooms One die, the WeR Memory Keepers party banners nesting dies and a Love Nicole die for the sentiment which I cut multiple times.  I finished the card by adding some faux pearls to the blooms.  I made this card for one of my co-workers who's last day is today, I sure hope she likes pink!    I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #405 over at Die Cuttin' Divas and #82 over at Cardz TV.
