Hello and happy Wednesday, it rained all day yesterday so I'm. Hoping for no rain today not only for us but for the areas being pounded by Harvey. I am back today to share another super simple card that I put together last night using sketch inspiration Clean & Simple Stamping Fall to Layout #31. I am also, sharing this card for the CFC181 color challenge (kraft and white) over at CAS-ual Fridays and the Anything Goes Challenge #9 over at Cardz TV. I used paper from my scrap stash twine and Recollections enamel dots and a Jillibean stamp set for the heat embossed sentiment. Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.
Hello and happy Monday, the weekend goes by way too fast. Thoughts and prayers for all those in the pathways of Harvey; so much devastation. Today I am sharing a thank you card that I put together using more paper from the Jillibean Soup pad that I used last week, some twine and a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment. I also used my little pop up photo booth that I purchased from ebay for $5 for the first time. Thank you for your visit.
Hello and happy Saturday, I am back today to share another card. I created this card for the blank card face challenge over at Soul Scrappers. If you are looking for some challenges and inspiration you may want to look at their site; this is my second time creating and sharing a project over at Soul Scrappers. In case you wondering, a blank face card is a card that doesn't include a sentiment on the card front! I used papers from the Garden Party 6x6 paper pad from Pebbles, the ribbon and flowers have been in my stash for a very long time. Thank you for your visit and I hope you will return soon.
Hello and happy Friday, I started this post yesterday afternoon and didn't get a chance to finish it. My daughter and I got a little play time Wednesday night working on our planners and when we finished I made this card after watching a YT video. The pattern papers came from a Jillibean Soup 6x6 paper pad that I picked up earlier this year on clearance at ACMoore. I have lots of paper but I never seem to have what I need! I am sharing this for the Anything Goes Challenge #9 over at Cardz TV. Thank you for your visit, wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Hello and happy Wednesday, hope everyone survived the solar eclipse without incident. I've been MIA for about a week, as a matter of fact I meant to share this post yesterday but as life would have it I didn't. Today I am sharing a LO that has helped ease some of the emotions that my family is going through right now. The LO uses picture taken during an awards ceremony at the VA Hospital last month. The award was presented by the Bon Secours Health System Hospice Team. My FIL is currently a hospice patient, I am so happy that I was able to document what could be the last time I see his smile. Cancer sucks and right now it has attacked his brain, he is on the decline. Our hearts are sad but we are happy for the life he has lived. All items used on this LO came from my stash!

Hello and happy Monday, the weekend goes by way too fast! My driveby post today is short and sweet as I should have scheduled this post when I finished the LO yesterday! Today I am sharing a LO that I created for my daughter, I'm thinking about framing it and giving it to her BFF as a gift. I used sketch #288 from Sketches in Thyme for inspiration, random papers and embellishments from my stash. I'm also sharing this LO for CFC180 -Friendship over at CAS-ual Fridays. Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon!
Hello Saturday, I am back today to do a driveby post as I need to get some chores done and run some errands. I was suppose to go to a planner event but it was cancelled so I used my morning to put this card together. Today I am sharing a card that I put together for the Bye Bye Summer challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas. I pulled out my Recollections watercolor crayons and created the background (sky & water), cut the frame and flamingo with some of my unbranded dies, used a Fiskars punch for the stars and a CTMH stamp for the sentiment. I used some Craft Sensations pearl finish linen cardstock from the Dollar Tree for the frame and flamingo. Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a great day.
Hello and happy Friday, I meant to post yesterday but as life would have it I had some challenges. Yesterday was my SIL's birthday and this is one of the cards that I made for her. I used one of Mary's sketches from Cardz TV and paper from the My Mind's Eyes Honey Cake 6x6 paper pad. I took this picture on the top level of my work parking deck! Take care and have a wonderful weekend!
Its Tuesday, storms last night and still raining this morning! I am back today to share a card that I put together last night when I got home. I had a rough day so I needed to wind down, paper crafting is my therapy! I used sketch inspiration from Clean & Simple Stamping, the scraps of paper came from the My Mind's Eye Happier 6x6 paper pad, the lemon is a die cut from the Simply Charmed cricut cartridge and the sentiment is from a Fancy Pants stamp set. Another signature simple card done and ready to go postal when needed! I'm sharing this card for challenge #274 - Quote Inspired over at Use Your Stuff and the Cardz TV Card Crazy Crafters Anything Goes Challenge #7. Take care and have a terrific Tuesday!
Hello and happy Monday, the forecast calls for rain today. Today I am sharing another LO that I created using pictures of me, my daughter, my sister and one of my cousins after a Women's Day celebration where one of my other cousins was the speaker. I think the LO looks better in person, I still need to add the journaling. I used sketch inspiration from one of the sketches shared over at Sketch N Scrap and I shared this LO for a challenge over at Soul Scrappers. I used papers from the Recollections Elegant and Serene hot buy paper pad, misc stickers from my stash and my SLICE machine to cut the word family. Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon.
Happy Saturday, it seems like forever since I shared on my blog! Well I am doing a driveby post as I have a really busy day. We are headed to my mother's family reunion plus I have to get back to attend an event tonight. Today's card uses sketch inspiration from Die Cuttin' Divas challenge #328, pattern paper from the Shimelle True Stories 6x6 paper pad, a Spellbinders circle die and the camera is a Amy Tangerine die. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.
Hello and happy Wednesday, I'm back today to share another LO! The LO uses a 'usie' taken when one of my scrapping besties stopped in Virginia while she was heading back to North Carolina this past Spring. Today is Felisas' birthday so I decided to share this LO on my blog since I finally scrapped it! Sketch inspiration came from Stick it Down (June challenge), the heart paper came from the Recollections Get Glam hot buy paper pad, I used one of my unbranded dies for the tag and the title was cut from the Summer Celebrations cricut cartridge. I created this LO for the first and third challenge over at Scraps of Color and will be sharing it for challenge # 311 - Free Style over at Hiding in My Craft Room and the Friendship challenge over at Cut it Up! Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.
