Thursday Musings

Hello and happy Thursday, clouds and rain in the forecast for our area today.  I'm doing a quick driveby to remind you about the Cut it Up blog hop tomorrow and to share a sign that I created recently.  I think it looks better in person, overcast outside so it's hard to get a good picture.  On game day this is what you'll see me waving in honor of baby girl who is one of the team captains for her volleyball team.  I used All Sports, Cuttin' it Up, Fontastic Fonts and Teen Scene Cricut cartridges.  I stamped the doll face using the Peachy Keen Princess Face set  and colored the lips with a glittered marker.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.

Hello and happy Tuesday and National Cooking Day!  Cloudy and humid in our area with rain in the forecast for day.  I'm doing a super quick drive by post where I am sharing my planner pages for this week.  I went to a BWWPC meet-up on Saturday and worked on my weekly LO and finally finished last night so I'm sharing it today!  I was going with a Fall theme since this is the first full week of Fall and wanted to use that silhouette of the volleyball player since it had been laying around since last year.  My planning is just like my scrapbooking clean and simple!  Take care and I hope you will

Paper Weaving

Hello and happy cloudy Tuesday, more rain in today's forecast but hopefully nothing like yesterday.  One death and at least five tornadoes touched down in our area yesterday, we had to shelter in place at work for almost two hours.  Today I am sharing a card that I put together after watching one of Nicole Nowoad's videos from  Scrapbook and Cards, she was creating a LO which I plan to do later but I thought I'd try the technique on a card since I had some scraps that I wasn't  ready to toss from a 6x6  paper pad.  I used some TH distress ink to color the base of the card, after I finished the weaving I added a Prima flower to the center, scattered  a few gems and stamped a sentiment.  I really like how this card came out and I hope my cousin enjoys it!  I am sharing it for the Anything Goes challenge #65 over at Cardz TV, challenge #26 over at LTCCB and the September challenge over at Always Happy Birthday.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.

Birthday Princess

Hello and happy Sunday, I started this post some time ago but for some reason I never shared it!  Happy to report we were spared by Forence but praying and thinking about others that weren't so fortunate.  Today's project share is a LO using pictures I took of baby girl the morning of her birthday as she was headed to school.  I used sketch inspiration from an online crop that I participated in last month.  The base sheet is cardstock from either a DCWV or Recollections pad and the patterns papers are from my scrap stash.  I used my Cricut to cut the crown and the word Princess, handcut and put the banner together; everything else has been in my stash for quite sometime.  School has stared and I really need to get on track with her school book.

Thank you for your visit and please come again soon.
