Tag Swap

Hello, happy Monday, rain and wind in today’s  forecast!  I'm doing an afternoon quick driveby post to share something that I have been working on recently.  I am participating in a tag swap for one of my FB groups, first time and of course I was stressed, it has gone postal and marked delivered but the recipient hasn’t acknowledged receipt.  I used the a Recollections Christmas  Plaids Paper pad to cover the front of the tags, black card stock for the back and lots of different dies, stamps, rub-ons, stickers and ribbon!

Thank you for your visit, I hope you will return soon.

Now that you’ve seen my project I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up Challenge blog for more design team inspiration.   Create and share your Christmas themed project that uses a die for a chance to win some crafting goodness from one of our challenge sponsors.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at noon EST.

Wednesday Musings

Happy Wednesday, mild temps in today's forecast.  Today's quick project share is a card created using sketch inspiration from a challenge posted over on FB in the Scraps of Color Group.  I used papers from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 paper pad which was gifted to me from one of my scrapping besties! I colored the unity stamp with pencils, used a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment, added a bow that I cut with a non-branded die and the card was done!  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #128 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe as you celebrate the holiday and hurry back soon!

Christmas Magic

Hello Monday, mild weather temps in today’s forecast. I haven’t share but my family could really use some prayers and positive thoughts.  We are grateful and don’t take God’s grace and mercy for granted but sometimes the bumps in the road takes an emotional toll.  Today’s card share is another holiday card created using sketch inspiration from CAS(e) #399, pattern  papers from the America Crafts Jolly 6x6 paper pad and a Hampton Arts (Cam &Choke) stamp that I picked up last Christmas so this is another intentional use item. Another card done and will be going postal soon as my goal is to have the majority of my holiday cards in the mail  by December 1!

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe as you prepare for the holiday.

Joy

Hello Saturday, nice temps in today’s forecast so I plan to get out to do some food shopping.  I am doing a quick drive by post to share another holiday card that turned out nothing like how I original planned!  I used a Sizzix TH Alterations embossing folder, a cut apart from the Pink Paislee Snow Village 12 x 12 paper pad and a sentiment die cut using my SLICE machine.  I am sharing this card for the embossing challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters. Although the end result was different from the original plan I still like it and it will be going postal soon!

Thank you for your visit, hurry back and stay safe!

World Kindness Day

Good afternoon, I am back with another quick post to share another holiday card.   In honor of world kindness day I am sharing a Christmas Joy shaker card! I used sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches #580, wood grain paper from Paper Studio, a die set from Tutti Designs.  I looked on their website and notice this particular die set is no longer available, I've had it for several years, it was gifted to me from one of my scrappin' besties! The glittered stars were cut with a Sizzix die and the  shaker mix is from Tuesday Morning.  The weather is overcast so I had a hard time getting a good picture but I do like the card, I might try to take another picture if the sun comes out.

Thank you for your visit, have a safe and wonderful weekend.

CIU #213 - Be Strong, Be Brave, Be Bold

Hello Friday, welcome to the weekend; so ready!  Today’s card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge #213, the theme is Be Strong, Be Brave, Be Bold and the sponsor is CASual Fridays.

When putting my card together I decided to use one of my Unity stamp sets, the color inspiration for the stamp is the Pandora Jewelry store colors; my daughter recently started working there for the holidays. I used some Bella Blvd paper, a CC Designs die, an unbranded stitched die for the sentiment and a few gems. I used colors pencils and some glitter pens to color the stamp.

Head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your Be Strong, Be Brave, Be Bold project for a change to win a $20 gift certificate from our sponsor. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at noon EST.

Thank You

Hello Wednesday and Happy Veterans Day, rain in today's forecast which means some of  outdoor activities had to be cancelled.  Today's card share is a card created using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin on Tuesday challenge #482.  I used misc pattern papers, an unbranded sentiment and stitched circle die and a branch punch.  I have mixed feelings about the card because of the mixture of pattern papers.  I am sharing this card for the Thank You challenge over at Always Fun Challenges #188.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back!

Joy Crafting

Hello Monday, another beautiful weather day in the forecast.  Today I am sharing what should have been my Saturday post but as life would have it I didn't get around to doing it! Today's card share is my last installment for the Joy Crafting with Lady Kre challenge, it was a personal challenge that she extended to the YT and Instagram community.  I recently picked up this Sizzix stamp/die set on one of my Tuesday Morning visits and decided to use it sooner rather than later!  I paired the sentiment with a piece of pattern paper from the American Crafts Jolly 6x6 paper pad, a snowflake die and some enamel dots.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #127 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a safe and wonderful week.

Sponsor Thank You

Hello and welcome to the weekend.  Today over at the Cut it Up challenge blog we are showcasing thank you cards that the design team members created for our challenge sponsors.  I created and mailed cards to Taylored Expressions and Your Next Stamp.

The inspiration for the card created for Taylored Expressions came from a YT video, I used their brick wall stencil along with a die and stamp set from my stash.  I really like how this card came out, I just might make another one using a different sentiment.

I created this card for Your Next Stamp using papers from the DCWV Farmstead Harvest 6x6 paper pad, some Sizzix oval dies, twine and their Whatnot Sentiments Seven stamp set for the sentiment.

Thank you for for your visit, stop by the Cut it Up challenge blog to see more thank you cards created for our sponsors.  Take care have a wonderful and safe weekend.

Happy Voting Day

Hello cool Fall day with a forecast for warmer temps later.  Today's project share is my second project created for a seven day joy crafting challenge hosted by LadyKre on the YT.  It is a frameless shaker card created after watching another one of Natasha's YT videos.  I like how this card came together after agonizing overnight about it and will surely be making another one soon!  The snowflake pattern piece of paper is from Recollections from a few years ago, the shaker bits are from a mix that I picked up in TM. I used my SLICE machine to cut the letters for the word happy and stamped holidays for the sentiment, used some transparency film since I couldn't put my hands any acetate.  I should be done with my holiday cards soon, I need to work on some tags for a swap so that will be my weekend project!

Thank you for your visit, take care and stay safe if you have to go out to vote today.  I went out this morning, it wasn't too bad I was done in less than an hour!
