Tuesday Musings

Hello and happy Tuesday, more nice weather in the forecast!  Today I am sharing a shaker card that I created for a sweet seven year old little princess who is celebrating her birthday this month!  The cupcake pattern paper is from the My Minds Eye Hootenanny 6x6 paper pad.   I used the Enjoy stamp and die set from Jillibean Soup for the first time it had been in my stash for a few months. Since I am on a no craft spending challenge I am shopping my stash which is good since I have goodies that haven't been opened/used.  I am sharing this card for the Cardz TV Card Crazy Crafters Anything Goes Challenge #1 and challenge #264 - Metallics over at Use Your Stuff, I use lots of sequins in my shaker!   Thank you for your visit, wishing you a terrific Tuesday!

Happy Mother's Day

Hello and happy Sunday the forecast for today is nice but I am keeping it simple.  Today I am sharing a card that I put together using sketch #496 from Mojo Monday. The pattern paper is from a My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper pad, can't remember the name since I pulled it from my scraps.  The sentiment stamp is from Stampendous which is one of my favorites.  I am also sharing this for the challenge #300 - Super Scraps over at  Hiding in my Craft Room.  Thank you for your visit, enjoy celebrating you and the mother(s) in your life.

Friday Musings

Hello and happy Friday!  I'm still not feeling 100 percent but I think that it is a cold and not my allergies that are lingering now.  It is raining outside so I'm looking forward to getting off and going to bed.  Today I am sharing another Mother's Day card using more paper from my scrap stash.  The flower die is from Darice and the sentiment is from one of the Ditto sets that I picked up from HL a long time ago.  I'm sharing this card for challenges on the following sites:
Die Cuttin' Divas - Mother's Day
Hiding in my Craft Room  - Flowers (NSD #2)
Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful weekend celebrating Mother's Day with your family.

Feathers

Hello Wednesday, I started this post yesterday but never finished it so I am sharing it today.  Another cool day, we were out late last night so I am not ready to get my day started. I need to finish up my Mother's Day cards so I can get them in the mail.  Today I am sharing a card using inspiration from skerch #97 from  Sketch N Scrap.   When I saw the challenge #263 to use feathers on your project over at Use Your Stuff I decided to use this sheet of paper from the Amy Tangerine  Sketchbook 6x6 paper pad, I cut the quill from the Heritage cricut cartridge, I used some of the Dollar Tree washi for the border, stamped a sentiment, added a few enamel dots and the card was done.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Monday Musings

Hello and  happy Monday, not feeling very happy but I'm alive so I'm blessed.  Today I am sharing another the final card that I started on NSD but didn't finish until this morning.  It is another one of my signature clean and simple cards but I do like how it came out.  I used more paper from my scrap stash and a doily that I cut with a WeR Memory Keepers die and the dress stamp is from the Ranger Dylusions Couture set and I heat embossed the sentiment.  I'm sharing this card for the Just us Girls #392 word challenge, the word is Mother.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back soon.

National Scrapbook Day

Hello and happy NSD! I don't have any scheduled plans for today but chores, rest and play.  I am off to a good start in the play area as I have already created two cards.  Today I am sharing the first card which is a birthday card created with mostly scraps, the pattern paper came from a Becky Higgins Project Life 6x6 paper pad.  I am sharing this card for the CAS-ual Fridays pick 6 birthday card challenge.  I used six butterflies that I punched with a MS punch to which I added some stickles and some Candy Shoppe Jellies.  The stamp used for the sentiment is from the Casual Elegance stamp set from CAS-Hal Fridays.  Take care and enjoy your day.

Teacher Appreciation

Hello and happy Friday; it is currently raining outside.  My eyes are burning because I am still sleepy but I must get my day started.  Today I am sharing one of the teacher appreciation cards that I made for my daughter's teachers.  I made five but since I finished them at the last minute I didn't have time to take pictures.  I am happy  to report I am still on my spending ban so everything used has been in my stash for sometime!  This card  is for my daughter's History teacher, I used my Darice notebook paper embossing folder for the first time, the globe is a sticker, the sentiment is from the Beyond Birthdays cricut cartridge, and I  finished off this clean and simple card by added a few sequins.  Wishing you and yours a blessed weekend.
