State Fair Fun

 

Happy little Friday,  the last day of the month. I am up doing another drive by post to share a layout that I recently finished. It is an 8 1/2 x 11 layout of my daughter and her little friend at last year’s state fair,. I used my Cricut  to cut the carousel, looking at it now I should have cut it smaller!; oh well it’s done now! I  used  stickers for the title and date and a flyer to cut the sub+title, added a few punched stars and it was done. Thinking of You

Hello Tuesday, it has been a while; doing a quick drive by post to share another card. I created this card using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap challenge #296. This is another scrap busting project, where I just pulled random pieces of paper to use on the card. I cut the flower with a Momenta die, and stamped (heat embossed) the sentiment using  a Recollections stamp set. Finished the card by adding some enamel dots, going postal this week! I am sharing this card for challenge #291 over at the Tic Tac Toe challenge blog.  I used the middle column (die cut, wet emboss and layers)

Thursday Musings

 

Hello Thursday morning,  doing a quick drive by post as I have been trying to share all week. Today’s card uses sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #678, papers from my scrap stash; finishing a CTMH kit. Cut the flower using a scrapbook.com die and a stamped sentiment from Love Nicole, added a few gems from the kit and this card was done!  I am sharing this card for the monthly Anything Goes challenge over at A Perfect Time to Craft.

CIU #354 - Colors of Spring

 

Hello, happy Friday; let the weekend begin!  Today's project share was created for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #354 is Spring Colors, 

I used sketch inspiration from Try a Sketch on Tuesday #693, papers from Illustrated Faith, a coneflower die, a Spellbinders die for the sentiment; finished by adding a few gems!  I like how this card came together and the coneflower die is one of my favorites! I am sharing this card for the monthly Anything Goes challenge over at A Cut Above, this month's challenge includes an optional twist - pastels!

Wednesday Musings

 

Hello Wednesday, where does the time go? This month, this year it’s just passing like a whirlwind! Today’s project share is a card created using mostly random scraps of paper from my stash,  trying to be more intentional about using my scraps. I even used an old textured card base from a box of Hot Buy cards from Michaels, one flower is from Fun Stampers Journey and the two are Paper Studio (spare parts; all items that have been in my stash for a number of years.  Added a few gems and a stamped sentiment and this card was done!

Friday Musings

 

Hello and welcome to the weekend! I am doing a quick drive by post to share another birthday card.  I created this card using sketch inspiration from Try a Sketch on Tuesday challenge #692.  The patterned pieces of paper came from a Crafters Square paper pack, and the other papers are mostly scraps, the sentiment die is one that I have had for a while, finished the card by adding some sequins! This bright and cheery card will probably be added to my stash until I need a card for a kid.

I haven't had much time to play this week but it's the weekend and I hope to at least get some playtime! Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back again soon.

He is Risen

 Hello and Happy Resurrection Day! Doing a quick drive by post as I am wanted to get a quick walk in before heading to church this morning.  Today's card was created using patten papers from a DCWV paper pad, a CTMH stamp for the sentiment a Spellbinders Crosses 2 die set for the the cross, finished by adding a few gems and this card was done!

CIU #354 - Baby or Kids

 

Happy Friday and hello weekend! Today's card share was created for the Cut it Up challenge blog; the theme for challenge #354 is to create a baby or kid themed project. I created this Lego themed birthday card using a circle die, it would have been easier with a punch! The sentiment was cut with a Sizzix die set.

Stopping in today to share another card, that I created for one of my scrapping besties.  I used a mix of items that have been in my stash for a while including a cover plate (Bold Curves), some flowers cut with a Spellbinders die set, cut the sentiment using a scrapbook.com die set and finished by adding a few gems. It has some imperfections, need to figure out if the cover plate or the paper is the problem.
