Service Project

Last night we got together to stuff gift bags for our holiday service project, I committed to donate a Christmas card, journal and pen to each bag; I hope this small measure of giving back is a source of some holiday happiness to the receipient.  This is actually our first service project together for this particular group, in the past we have participated in joint projects with our husbands.  Today I'm sharing another picture of some of the cards that I made.  I hope to complete a LO of us putting the bags together soon.

RIP in peace Nelson Mandela.  Prayers, condolences and prayers for traveling mercies for members of my husband's family as they celebrate the life of Aunt Lucy.  We were unable to make the trip because of other obligations.

We had mild temps yesterday but its cold this morning and bracing ourselves for some winter weather this weekend so I may get to start on my own holiday cards.  Wishing you and yours a blessed weekend.

Bless you sister. My condolences for your family. What a sweet gesture. I can just see their smiling faces when they receive their gifts. It's nothing like a homemade card!

I agree with Princess! I'm sure they loved this! Very cute cards--my favorite one is the "holly card!" TFS
