Sunday Musings

Hello Sunday, my intention was to share this post yesterday but as life would go things changed.  Last week's  theme for 2Crafters1Design over on YT and IG was movies, perfect time for me to use a die set for the first time!  I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #638, papers from a Momenta pack, stamped a sentiment and added some Freckled Fawn enamel stars.  I used some antique linen ink on the popcorn might have to try something different the next time; I still think it came out fairly well.  I am also sharing this card for the Anything Goes monthly challenge over at A Cut Above.  It has been hard but I have to de-clutter and stop hoarding my crafty stash!

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and be mindful of your surroundings.  Hurry back soon!

Just Breathe

Hello Sunday, it's thundering and raining again so I'm trying to get this post shared quickly.  Today's project share uses sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #637, some Echo Park pattern  paper, Gina Marie Designs chair die, used my SLICE machine to cut the tree and stamped the sentiment using an old Stamping for Less stamp set.  I am sharing this card for the Tropical themed challenge hosted on YT and IG by 2Crafters1Design and the Tic Tac Toe challenge #274 my card contains the elements from the last column: CAS, Summer Colors and Any Sentiment

CIU #334 - Christmas in July

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today's card share is my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #334 is Christmas in July.  Once I decided which dies I wanted to use the inspiration for the design of the card came from one that I had previously seen on YT.  I used an embossing folder and a Spellbinder's die set for the icons, a sticker for the sentiment and this card was done!

I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your Christmas in July project.  The challenge starts today and ends Monday, July 21, 2025 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon!

Joy & Cheer

Hello Sunday, the start of a new week; grateful for another chance to do and be better!  Today's card share is one of my Christmas in July projects.  When putting this card together it took lots of turns and a few challenges as I have been working on multiple projects over the holiday weekend.  For this card, I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #636, the tree die and pattern papers are from scrapbook.com, and the sentiment came from a Spellbinders stamp set.  So many goodies that need attention in my stash, still working on my hoarding problem of my paper crafting goodies.

Thank you for your visit, take care and continue to be safe.  I appreciate your visit and comments, hurry back soon!

Happy 4th

Good evening, doing a quick drive by tpost o share an ATC created for the weekly craftydares challenge hosted over on Instagram.  The dares for this week were:  patriotic, gingham and an artist trading card.  I used papers from the Pebbles Americana  6x6 paper pad, a Jolee sticker and some foam stickers from my stash, and this beauty was done. I'm sharing this project  for the Red, White and Blue challenge #551 over at Shopping Our Stash.

Thank you for your visit, take care and continue to be safe.  I hope you'll stop by again soon.

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday evening, today's card share is a friendship card created using sketch inspiration from Try a Sketch on Tuesday challenge #673.  This card came together quite nicely and it will be going postal soon.  I used random pieces for paper from my stash, a circle punch, a Spellbinders stamp for the sentiment and some butterfly stickers from Crafter's Companion.  I picked the stickers up from a craft yard sale last weekend!  I'm sharing this card for the Word Art Wednesday challenge for weeks 706-707, their challenges are always anything goes along as they are family friendly/

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.
