CIU #368 - Thankful, Grateful, Blessed

 Hello Friday, let the weekend begin. Today's  card share is my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog, the theme is Thankful, Grateful, Blessed. When creating my card I used more random papers from my stash including a corrugated piece. I used a die for the zig zag frame and the sentiment, both from scrapbook.com.

CIU #367 - Pretty in Pink

 Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin! Today's card share is my project for the  Cut it Up challenge blog. When putting my card together for this challenge I used random papers, an embossing folder and several different die sets for the candy canes and poinsettia. The sentiment is an old Colorbok metal sticker that has been in my stash for a long time!

CIU #366 - More Than One Die Cut

 

Hello October, another busy month with lots to do and less time to play! Today’s project share is a layout that I put together documenting my participation in a 5k for ovarian cancer awareness. CIU #365 - Orange and Black

 

Hello and happy Friday, today I am sharing my project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #365 is Orange and Black (dominate colors).  I created this fall themed card using  four different die sets, a pattern piece of paper from a Love Nicole 6x6 paper pad, and a piece of acetate for the window (can't see it in the picture). CIU #364 -Shaped Card

I used an arch die to make my card, paper from my scrap stash,  cut the using a die from the Spellbinders Spectacular collection and the stamped sentiment is from MFT.

CIU #363 - Moving Along

 Hello Friday, sharing my project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #363 is Moving Along (Transportation). I decided to use a bicycle which I cut using a Sizzix die which was part of a set. This card contains a mix of old and new to my stash items.  The paper and sticker used for the sentiment were purchases from this year.

CIU #362 - Add a Sentiment

 Hello and happy Friday, today’s project share is a card created for the  Cut it Up challenge blog. This week’s theme is Add a Sentiment. This signature clean and simple card was created using more stash items as I continue to try to de-clutter. The zigzag frame and sentiment are both dies sets from Scrapbook.com. The translucent paper is from a Canson  Effects Papercraft paper pad that has been in my stash for at least six years.

CIU #361 - Emboss It

 

Hello and happy Friday, welcome to another card created for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #361 is Emboss It (dry or heat) and I did both!  I embossed the background panel using the Spellbinders Splatter  embossing folder, colored it using distress oxide ink (stormy sky) and some Recollections ink for the green. Cut the wheelbarrow,  flower pots and tulips using different dies from my stash, heat embossed the sentiment and this card is ready to go postal!

CIU #359 - Critters

 

Hello Friday, let the weekend begin! The theme for challenge #359 over at the Cut it Up challenge blog is critters. For this card I used patten papers from a Honey Bee Stamps 6x6 pad, the bee is another one of the dies from the 2024 Spellbinders Advent calendar and the sentiment is a die from the Sizzix Bee Happy die set. Added a few pearl gems and this card was done.

I created this card using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #687, sharing it for the Anything Goes Word Art Wednesday challenge for weeks #758-759 and the Crafting Happiness June (Summer or Anything Goes) challenge.

CIU #358 - One For The Boys/Men

 Hello Friday, time for another Cut it Up challenge, this week we are sharing male themed projects. I pulled out the Spellbinders Simon Hurley's U[p and Away die set. For this project I used more of my paper scraps, the background layer was sitting on my desk that was originally planned for another project. I just added a strip of grass, a cloud with the stamped sentiment and some tiny gems and this card was done!

CIU #357 - Friendship

 

Hello Friday, let the weekend begin! Today's project share is a friendship themed card created for the Cut it Up challenge blog. I used an embossed piece of paper for the base, a die for the flower tub/bucket which I think is an old Honey Bee Stamp die (wasn’t with the packaging). The flowers are from Crafter’s Square and the sentiment was stamped from the  Stampendous True Friends stamp set.

CIU #356 - Flowers

 Hello Friday, let the weekend begin! Today's project share is my design team member project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for  challenge #356 is flowers so I reached for two more die sets (flowers and sentiment) from the  2024 Spellbinders Advent Calendar, one of the items that you have in your stash waiting for the right time to use it! This is a true shopping your stash project, the pattern papers are from the American Crafts Cutie Pie paper pad, I  used sketch inspiration from the Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #681; like when a card comes together as you vision it in your head but I don't like the little pieces in these die sets (maybe that's why they had been tucked away)!

CIU #355 - Something With Wings

 Hello Friday, back today sharing my project for the latest challenge over at the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #355 is Something With Wings.  Trying to step away from what I would normally use I decided to use a flamingo die which went well with the piece of pattern paper that I had recently pulled from a paper pack.  Added a polaroid frame, some leaves, flowers (all cut from different die sets) and a stamped sentiment and this card was done!

I used sketch inspiration from Try a Sketch on Tuesday #693, papers from Illustrated Faith, a coneflower die, a Spellbinders die for the sentiment; finished by adding a few gems!  I like how this card came together and the coneflower die is one of my favorites! Happy Friday and hello weekend! Today's card share was created for the Cut it Up challenge blog; the theme for challenge #354 is to create a baby or kid themed project. I created this Lego themed birthday card using a circle die, it would have been easier with a punch! The sentiment was cut with a Sizzix die set.

CIU #349 - Makes Me Happy

 

Hello and happy Friday, here to share my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #349 is This Makes me Happy. I decided to create a layout using some pictures of me, my children and my dad  taken after the celebration of my mom's life service last year.  Family is all we have and anytime I spend with my family is usually happy even though it may not be a happy occasion. We are coming up on a year and it is still hard, I know that there is no time limits related to grief so I try not to dwell on the loss.

When I created my layout I used miscellaneous papers from various paper pada or packages.  I used two different die sets to cut the hearts and my Cricut to cut the word family, used some Echo Park stickers for the word love,  added some Prima flowers and a few gems and this layout was done.  I had a hard time getting a good picture. I am sharing this layout for the Anything Goes challenge #177 over at Love to Scrap.

CIU #348- My Heart

Hello and happy Friday, we are in a state of emergency as we await a winter storm. Today's card share is my project for the Cut it Up challenge blog, the theme for challenge  #348 is My Heart. When putting this card together I used  Honey Bee Stamps paper,  several different heart dies and some tiny enamel hearts.  The sentiment was cut using a Spellbinder's die.
