CIU #338 - That's Funny

Hello Friday, although it has been a short work week it has felt long!  Today's project share was created for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #338 is That's Funny, the challenge was to create something humorous; and for me that was indeed a challenge!   While sorting and de-cluttering my stash I  found some older never before used Sizzix Tim Holtz stamp and die sets so I decided to use the Cat Chat set.  The embossing folder was a part of the set too,  stamped and cut the cat, popped it on a polaroid die cut and added to the embossed layer. I used some glittered  letter stickers for the sentiment and this card was done!

I am sharing this card for the monthly Anything Goes using a die challenge over at A Cut Above and the Just Us Girls challenge 3791 - Die Week.

I hope that you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your humorous project using a die cut.  The challenge starts today and ends Monday, September15, 2025 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, all the best to you and yours.  I hope you will visit again soon.

CiU #337 - Anything Goes

Hello, happy Friday and let the weekend begin!  Today's card share is my latest project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #337 is Anything Goes, my original intent was to create a layout but as life would have it that didn't happen.  For my card I decided to use one of the Roots themed Brutus Monroe Creative Cards as my focal point.  I distressed the edges of one layer, used a cover plate die for the next layer and added the matted focal point.  I used a Prima glittered flower, some Recollections flowers with Stampin' Up gems and a stamp and die set from scrapbook.com for the sentiment.  Another card done and ready to go postal!

I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration, create and share your Anything Goes project using a die. The challenge starts today and ends Monday, September 1, 2025 at noon PST.
