Wednesday Wanderings

Hello and happy Wednesday, it rained all day yesterday so I'm. Hoping for no rain today not only for us but for the areas being pounded by Harvey.  I am back today to share another super simple card that I put together last night using sketch inspiration Clean & Simple Stamping Fall to Layout #31.  I am also, sharing this card for the CFC181 color challenge (kraft and white) over at CAS-ual Fridays and the Anything Goes Challenge #9 over at Cardz TV.  I used paper from my scrap stash twine and Recollections enamel dots and a Jillibean stamp set for the heat embossed sentiment.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.

Thank You

Hello and happy Monday, the weekend goes by way too fast.  Thoughts and prayers for all those in the pathways of Harvey; so much devastation.  Today I am sharing a thank you card that I put together using more paper from the Jillibean Soup pad that I used last week, some twine and a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment.  I also used my little pop up photo booth that I purchased from ebay for $5 for the first time.  Thank you for your visit.

Blank Card Face

Hello and happy Saturday, I am back today to share another card.  I created this card for the blank card face challenge over at Soul Scrappers.   If you are looking for some challenges and inspiration you may want to look at their site; this is my second time creating and sharing a project over at Soul Scrappers.  In case you wondering, a blank face card is a card that doesn't include a sentiment on the card front!  I used papers from the Garden Party 6x6 paper pad from Pebbles, the ribbon and flowers have been in my stash for a very long time.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you will return soon.

Hello

Hello and happy Friday, I started this post yesterday afternoon and didn't get a chance to finish it.  My daughter and I got a little play time Wednesday night working on our planners and when we finished I made this card after watching a YT video.  The pattern papers came from a Jillibean Soup 6x6 paper pad that I picked up earlier this year on clearance at ACMoore.   I have lots of paper but I never seem to have what I need!   I am sharing this for the Anything Goes Challenge #9 over at Cardz TV.  Thank you for your visit, wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Our Hero

Hello and happy Wednesday, hope everyone survived the solar eclipse without  incident.  I've been MIA for about a week, as a matter of fact I meant to share this post yesterday but as life would have it I didn't.  Today I am sharing a LO that has helped ease some of the emotions that my family is going through right now.  The LO uses picture taken  during an awards ceremony at the VA Hospital last month.  The award was presented by the Bon Secours Health System Hospice Team.  My FIL is currently a hospice patient, I am so happy that I was able to document what could be the last time I see his smile.  Cancer sucks and right now it has attacked his brain, he is on the decline.  Our hearts are sad but we are happy for the life he has lived.  All items used on this LO came from my stash!
