Be Merry

Hello and happy cold Wednesday morning, I'm doing another quick drive by post to share another card. This card uses sketch inspiration form Atlantic Hearts challenge #503 and a piece of pattern paper from an old Martha Stewart mat pad, some Recollections silver foil paper for the bow, an unbranded die to cut the bow and a stamped sentiment.  I like how this super cute card came together once I got the paper to work for the bow, thinking about it now I should have tried adding a little water to wet the fibers. I even have another die that would have cut the bow already assembled, that's what happens when you have way too much stuff in your stash!  Oh well lesson learned for next time.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back soon.

Hello Thursday

Hello Thursday and Happy Little Friday, stopping in to do a quick drive by post.  Today's card share is one that was created using sketch inspiration from Tuesday Morning Sketches, and papers from the Pebbles Girl Squad 6x6 pad (this pad is almost done)!  I tried my hand at making an origami envelope, added a button and large sentiment that I cut with an unbranded die and this card was done.  It will be going postal today, sure hope it arrives to it's destination in time.

Thank you for your visit, hope you'll come back again soon!

Happy Birthday

Hello and happy Tuesday, I'm stopping by to share a birthday card that I created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #484 and some random papers from my stash, I think they may be from DCWV.  I used a Spellbinder's die for the cupcake and an unbranded die for the sentiment; finished the card by adding a few Jillibean Soup star gems.  I like it when a card comes together nicely especially since I have lots of birthdays this month so I will be sharing more birthday cards soon!

Thank you for your visit, stay cool, be safe and hurry back soon.

Sunday Musings

Hello and happy early Sunday morning, today’s drive by  post is an encouragement card. The card uses sketch inspiration from sketch  #565 over at Try Stampin on Tuesday. The paper came from the Love Nicole Time Machine 6x6 paper pad, a Studio G stamp for the sentiment and a WeR MemoryKeepers star die. I am so over this paper pad but it is my go to pad when I make male cards. This signature clean and simple card is going postal to a young solder in the Army going through a rough time.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

CIU #257 - Treat Box or Bag

Hello and happy Friday, hoping we'll be getting some relief from the heatwave soon.  Today's project share is my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  We were to create a treat bag or box for challenge #257 and the sponsor is Newton's Nook.

I created a Christmas treat bag using a Pink and Main die, paper from the Recollections Festivus 12x12 paper pad.  The die came with the tag so I just used a Big Picture stamp for the sentiment and a piece of ribbon from my stash; added some gift bag filler and this project was done.  The bag can hold small gifts (jewelry, lip balms, hand sanitizer) or food items.

Now that you've seen my project, I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration, create and share a treat bag or box using a die.  You could win a $20 gift credit from our challenge sponsor, it starts today and ends Wednesday, August 10 at noon est.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon!
