Lidia
Today's post is a little late as I finished the LO this morning before heading to work but didn't have time to take the picture! This LO uses pictures of a sculpture that sits outside the aquarium in Virginia Beach. On a recent trip while waiting for the rest of the 7th graders to arrive we took pictures of the sculpture and the seals in the outside pool. Lidia the seal was made from trash that washed ashore from the beach. The pattern paper is from the K&Co designer pad, the seal was cut using the Zoo Day cricut cartridge and the flower is from the Recollections simply pastel collection.

Field Trip
Hello Monday, this LO is the last LO for my daughter's 7th grade school year so I'm happy that I have been able to complete that part of her album . I still have one LO from her 6th grade year to complete, not sure if I'll get to it during this challenge. Today's LO uses a picture that she took with some of the school mates during a recent field trip to the Aquarium in Virginia Beach I used some WeR chevron feelin' groovy paper for the base and because of the colorfulness of the picture I didn't want to over embellish the LO. So I just matted the picture, added a flower, ribbon, buttons and thickers for the title. I like how it came out!

Science Projects
It has been quite warm here for the last few days which means lots of in door time! Today's project is another LO for my daughter's school album, it uses pictures of projects she made for Science. She used play doh to make the animal cell. The picture with the ice cube with the pepper was one of the pictures from her Science Fair project while she was conducting the experiment; I forgot to take a picture of the completed board. The last picture is one of food chains mobile. I will surely finish all the LOs from her 7th grade year by the end of this challenge.

Language Land
I am so ready for school to end because sometimes I feel like I'm going through the 7th grade too! Today I'm sharing one of the last projects that my daughter had to turn in for this school year, it is a game that she modeled after the child hood game Candy Land and she named hers Language Land as it is is about figurative language. As usual she had a good idea in her head but when it came time to pull it all together and the fact that she waited this is the final project even though I said I wasn't going to help!
The base is foam core board, the colored path squares she punched with an EK Success punch. The two bridges, tree, bear, water, birds, frog and arrows were cut from several cricut cartridges. The caged tiger at the finish line is a file from the Silhouette online store; the tiger is her school's mascot. The base of the question cards is a cricut die cut.
The game pieces were made with a small die cut and a binder clip. The cuts included a bear, butterfly, monkey and a snake all cut with the cricut with the exception of the bear, I used the SLICE. Wishing you and yours a blessed day.

Hello Tuesday
I've been a little behind in posting to my blog so I decided to post again today to share another LO that I completed while I was at the crop over the weekend. Its another signature simple LO using my daughter's spring school pictures. The pictures are always my focal point so everything else is usually kept to a minimal. The base of the LO already had a print so I just added a few embelishments. The title label (love that smile), the star and heart came with the paperpad. I borrowed the little wooden veneers from Vernetta, another scrapper at the crop.
I'm sharing this LO for the weekly blog challenge over at Scraps of Color for week #18. I hope to be back tomorrow with another post, I've fallen behind with my challenge posting too.

10K Ready
Today's LO will be included in DD's school album, it uses pictures taken just before they were about to participate in last month's 10k. We were so proud of her as it was her first time participating in a 10k and it rained; she really doesn't care for the outdoors!
The inpsiration for the LO came from the Desk to Done challenge #30 hosted by Tiare from Embrace Your Art. I really wanted some running themed paper but I didn't have any and I couldn't find any at the three stores where I looked so I settled on some Get Your Game on Paper from Little Yellow Bicylce. Even though this is another simple LO I used four different machines to cut the embellishments and lettering. The stars are EK Success stickers and the bling Jolee's; which is an EK Success brand (something I recently learned).

Little Ladies
I used my cameo to cut the mask and dress, punched the shoes with a EK Success shoe puncch. Still using my stash and trying hard not to add anything else! I'm sharing this for the anything goes blog challenge for week #15 over at Scraps of Color. I had a very hard time taking a picture of the LO, I think its time for a new camera or I need to stick to taking pictures during the day!

Math After Hours
Today's LO is one that I just couldn't seem to get it right, but I spent way too much time on it so its going in the book as is. I'm not sure if its the paper, pictures, or the sketch inspiration. The pictures were taken during an after hours Math event at my daughter's school. I used misc. paper and stickers from my stash, I am not not sure if you can see that the LO base does have a pattern on it. I decided to use one of the pictures as the title.
This is my second LO for this year's "From Desk to Done in Five Minutes" series hosted by Tiare from iClassygirl. I am also sharing this LO for this week's anything goes blog challenge over at Scraps of Color.

Off to School
Today's LO and card is one that I worked on last weekend. The LO uses pictures from my daughter's first day of school and the sketch inspiration is from the September Pajama Party hosted by Tiare from iClassygirl and Scraps of Color. All items for the LO and card came from my scrap stash and the card was given to our nephew who celebrated his 11th birthday yesterday.

First Day of School
First day of school today, look at our 7th grade tween. She was tired of taking pictures and didn't want to cooperate by the time I took this picture with my cell phone as we were getting in the car. She woke up early this morning but we still didn't make our target departure time so we'll be working on fine tuning our morning ritual. I sure hope it doesn't rain today so that that "school do" will last!
