CIU #331 - Anything Goes

 Hello Friday and welcome weekend, today's share is my project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #331 is Anything Goes so  I decided to share a scrapbook layout.  I have lots of memories recent and past that I need to document!  I used pictures from Easter Sunday, items that have been in my stash for some years like the cork and wood veneer embellishments.  I used die sets to cut the cross and the flowers.

Hello and Happy Easter! I started this post yesterday but as life would have it I didn't get to finish.  Aside from my emotions being all over the place I can't figure out how to get pass this being stuck.  Today's card share was created using the nested peeps die, a Gina Marie Designs flower die set and other items from my stash.  I added buttons to the flower centers as part of a challenge on IG.  I am also sharing this card for the Hippity Hop challenge #545 over at Shopping Our Stash.

Sunday Musings

Hello and happy Sunday, cloudy but warm temps, doing a drive by post as I have chores and grocery shopping to do.  Today’s card share uses another background created using punched squares using from the Recollections Backyard Fun paper pad, a cut from the Cricut From my Garden cartridge, some Paper Studio gems and a CTMH stamp for the sentiment.  I am sharing this card for the Mystery Bag Challenge #25 over at Soul Scrappers.

Whatever Wednesday

This week has been really draining but I'm still standing even though I am feeling a bit emotional.  I am needing to take care of myself but right now I am putting my own care on hold to care for others. That being said just lift a sister up in prayer!

Today's LO is one that uses pictures taken of our daughter on Easter Sunday.  We were going into my in-laws house for dinner and I realized I hadn't taken any pictures of her in her dress.  She rarely ever wears dresses now so it was a big deal and she really liked it, blue is her favorite color.  I like how this one turned out, it's another signature simple LO using DCWV papers, Recollections burlap flowers, pearls, a dress cut file from the Silhouette online store and some number stickers that have been in my stash forever.  I just need to add some journaling.

Easter

This a LO of my daughter of pictures taken on Easter Sunday after church. I hid 16 eggs in the yard and she found them. She also hunted egss at church, school and the sitter; she loves to hunt for eggs. The other pictures are of her basket and card that she received from us. The basket is a pink and white soccer ball which contained alot of goodies.
