Hello Sunday

The start of a new week of prayer and praise as we learned on Friday that my sister is number 2 on the transplant list.  We are so happy for God's grace and anxiously await the next breakthrough.

I am strill trying to get in some scrappin'  in whenever possible.  Today I am sharing a LO and card that I completed for the Summertime and the Scrappin is Easy workshop.  On the LO I used stickles on the base and another picture from our trip to Pittsburgh.  The card was made  using some of the paper scraps from the LO and other misc. elements.

Thank you for stopping by, wishing you a great week!

Family Fun

I don't know what happened but I had to repost this post!  I finally finished a LO, today I'm sharing a LO that I started last week. The picture used in this LO were taken during our family visit to the Science Center in Pittsburgh over Spring Break. We had lots of fun visiting with my son. The sketch for this LO came from Tiare over at iClassygirl, stop by her blog if you are looking for some inspiration. She recently started hosting a monthly pajama party where you can sign up to join her as she scrapbooks live via Spreecast. I used Recollections cardstock for the base and the pattern paper came from a kit that I purchased from TM a long time ago, I also used some of the embellishments from the paper pack.

Family Time

Today I'm sharing a picture of me and my children, we took the picture yesterday on a cruise riverboat.  We went on a Easter dinner cruise that included live entertainment, dancing and a guided tour of the skyline of Pittsburgh.  On Saturday, when we arrived in Pittsburgh we went to dinner, a movie and a late night dessert.  My son has really planned our trip very well and we have thoroughly enjoyed everything we've done.  He has grown up and made us proud, everyone speaks highly of him and tells us how he was well raised and is a hardworker.  He has told us that he won't be totally happy until he is his own boss working for himself!

Happy

Happy
Another LO of my daughter and son on our recent visit to Pittsburgh. I completed this LO as part of a challenge listed on the Urban Scrappers with 5-4-3-2-1. Five letters in the title, four hand-written journal sentences, list at least three names, two exclamation or question marks and one date.
