Christmas in July

Christmas in July, I created these cards as part of the sista challenge on the MB. The challenge was to create a holiday card or LO, I did these three simple cards using my scraps and stash.

Shirt Cards

I made these shirt cards as part of my sista weekly challenge using a u-tube video demonstration. The cards will be given to my father and my father-in-law from my daughter.

Paper Bag Album

This paper bag album was done for one of the sista challenges. I've made several different style of paper bag albums but I think I like this one best. I really like the paper and it was one of the $1 packs from Michaels. I haven't added pictures or embellishments because I haven't decided whether I'll keep it or give it as a gift.

Scallop Edge Dresses

Dreses for every style and taste. This was the another challenge for the sista thread, as originally shared by a SU demo. The sistas really got into this one and I think everyone had fun working on them too. This is two of the dresses that I completed, some of the details aren't clearly visible in the pictures. Tri-Fold Card

This is my version of the tri-fold card challenge on the sista thread of the MB. The instructions used were posted by Craftiblog on wordpress. The actual cutting/making of the card was easy the hard part was the embellishments; maybe it would have been different had I chosen different paper.

I'll Always Love My Mamma

This is a LO that was completed for one of our sista challenges. The challenge was to use a song or poem in your LO, I used the title song along with a picture taken with my mother on Mother's Day. The song is an oldie by the Intruders.

Mother's Day

This a Mother's Day LO that showcases some of the gifts I received. I enjoyed doing this LO and I used it as part of two separate MB challenges. I thank God everyday for my children. My son sent me flowers and a necklace and my daughter made a stepping stone for my flower bed and she painted a flower pot in her class.

Phenomenal Woman

This is my version of another challenge from my sista friends. The LO had to include the poem by Maya Angelou (or parts of it). I plan to complete another version of this LO using women in my family, a concept lifted from another members version of this challenge.

Criss Cross Card

This is a mother's card that I did for one of our weekly challenges over on the sista thread on the cricut MB.

Easter Card

This is a Easter card that I created for one of our sista challenges. I enjoyed making this card and like the way that it came out.
