Palm Sunday

Hello and happy Palm Sunday, today's card share is another Easter card created using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card sketch #262.  I used mostly paper scraps, an embossing folder, an EK Success edge punch, cut the basket using an Echo Park die and a KS Crafts die set for the remaining die cuts. Added a stamped sentiment and a few gems and this card was done, I had a hard time getting a good picture; it does look better in person!

Thank  you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

Happy Easter

Hello and happy Tuesday, nice weather day outside so I need to get moving so I can get some outside time in today!  Today's card share is a Easter card that I put together using scraps that were sitting around from other projects.  I cut the ovals using a Sizzix die, stamped the bunnies with a Simple Stories stamp set that I picked up from TM during their going out of business sale.  Colored with bunnies with color pencils and added a  little bow and finished the card by adding some Honey Bee Stamps gems.  I am sharing this card for the Easter challenge #481 over at Use Your Stuff and the Anything Goes challenge #110 over at Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog.

CIU #197 - Hopping Down the Bunny Trail (Easter)

Hello and Happy Friday, hope all is well with you and yours as we make our way through this pandemic.  Today’s project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #197 is Hopping Down the Bunny Trail (Easter) and the sponsor is Taylored Expressions.

For my card I used the Doodlecharm, Wild Card 2 and Create-a-Critter  2 Cricut Cartridges.  The bunny paper is from the Echo Park Hello Easter 6x6 paper pad and the stamp used for the sentiment may be from Studio G .  I wanted to add a pattern to the basket but I couldn’t decide on which embossing folder to use.

Now that you’ve seen my project I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge  blog for more design team inspiration and decide to create and share your  Easter project for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from Taylored Expressions.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at noon.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and healthy!

Happy Easter

Hello and happy Saturday, cloudy and cool temps in today's forecast.  Today's card share uses the technique called ink smooshing.  I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something different,  I will be trying it again with different colors.  I used paper scraps of paper from my stash to cut the chick using the Create-a-Critter 2 Cricut cartridge and stamped the sentiment using a Craft Smart stamp, added a few gems (hard to see in the picture) and this card was done.  I am sharing it for my the Easter challenge over at Bitten by the Bug 2 and the Fuzzy Wuzzy challenge #353 over at Use Your Stuff.

Happy Easter

Hello and Happy Resurrection, wishing you and yours a wonderfully blessed day.  I am going to visit my parents again today, I don't feel like making the drive and nor will I  arrive in time for church but  I feel like I really need to spend more time with my family. Today I am sharing a super simple card that I just completed this morning, I only made two Easter cards this year so I didn't send any out.  I used  scrap paper from a Momenta 6x6 paper pad, one of my neglected embossing folders, the heart die cur came from the cricut Designer Calendar cartridge, a Gina Marie die for the slop and the sentiment was heat embossed.  I am sharing this card for challenge #283 over  at Freshly Made Sketches and challenge #312 over at Die Cuttin' Divas.  Take care and have a good day.

Slow Down

Wow, I need to slow down after reading my daily devotions this morning that is exactly what I am going to do.  All of this overbooking, scheduling with no downtime is taking its toll me both physically and mentally.  I don't recall the time change being a problem for me but it along with my schedule has me in a whole different zone!  Oh well it seems my blog has been feeling some neglect too as I didn't realize I hadn't shared in a few days until I was preparing to share today's post.

Today I am sharing my first Easter card for the season, sure hope I can step it up and finish a few more this week.  I am still struggling trying to use my 'mile high' scraps of paper stash which is what I used to put this card together for an Easter challenge over at SOC. I also sharing it for this month's  Super Scraps Saturday challenge  over at Hiding in my Craft Room.  Everything used came from my stash, happy to share I am 14 days and counting into my no craft spending challenge.  Wishing you and yours a wonderful week.

Easter

Happy Easter, wishing you and yours a wonderfully blessed day.  I am sharing today's card for the bunny challenge over at Bitten by the Bug2.  I made this card for my daughter, she has outgrown most of the traditional things that we did when she was younger.  So now she just gets a little gift bag or basket with a few goodies.  The card came together rather quickly once I cut all the layers of the bunny which I used the Create a Critter cartridge.  The paper came from the Making Memories Cheeky 6x6 paper pad, it has been in my stash forever.  Because of the size of the bunny there wasn't much room for much of anything else!  Added a few corner embellishments and a stamped sentiment with a few gems.

Take care and enjoy.

Happy Easter

Monday comes around way too quick, I really wanted to share a LO but did not have a chance to finish one that I started last week.  So today I am sharing the last card that I made during Friday's online chat over at Scraps of Color. The cross is a file from the Silhouette store, napped from the Momenta pad that I used previously and Recollections bling.  Tomorrow is the last day of National Ctraft Month which means this self imposed challenge of sharing on my blog comes to an end!

Happy Easter

Today is Friday and I'm doing the happy dance because this I'm looking forward to just a litle bit of down time.  So much has been happening and the next two weeks my schedule is jam packed so I need to regroup so I'll be ready.

I'm sharing some simple Easter cards that I put together for the kids, I really don't like making cards so I think that's one reason I don't make it a priority.  Even though I don't like making cards I really wanted to get some Easter cards done since I didn't send out any Christmas cards.  Oh well maybe one day when I'm more organized.

I cut the bunnies with my cameo, added some glimmer mist, a few gemstones, ribbon and some opal white pearl accent for one of the tails.  The pattern paper is from the DCWV Year Round Stack.  I am also happy to report that I've stepped out of my zone and used two additional features with my cameo, shadowing and the print and cut feature.

Over at Scraps of Color  this week's blog challenge is a baby or Easter themed project. Wishing you and yours a blessed Easter!

Happy Easter

I had so much fun participating in Friday Night Chat(FNC) on Scraps of Color and I have something to share for my next few posts.  I almost forgot that I'll be participating in a blog hop on Friday so I need to think about what I'll share.  The Easter card that I'm sharing today was one of  the challenges; we were suppose to use mint or pale green, ribbon and glitter. I think I got the inspiration for this card from BHG crafts.  The little rabbit and egg cuts were made with my cameo and I used my cuttlebug to emboss the yellow blocks, the stamp is a studio G and the ribbon is from my stash.  I'm not sure the picture does the card justice!
