One For the Birds
Trying to keep up with all of these scrappin' challenges and life challenges can take a toll. Hello and Happy Monday, the weekend goes by way too fast! We had a busy but fun weekend! Today I'm sharing a card that I made for the blog challenge listed over on Scraps of Color. The challenge was to use a bird on your project so I made a card for someone that recently got a promotion on their job. I'm still scrappin' my stash, even used my cuttlebug, the bird was cut from the heritage cricut cartridge and Congrats from the cindy loo cartridge. Thank you for stopping by and have a great week.

Let's Celebrate
Today is my special day and special indeed as its my big day! Its my birthday and I'm not making a big fuss nor am I expecting anyone else as I feel so blessed to have made it to this birthday! I'll work most of the day, pick my daughter up from school and we'll go hang out before I take her to aikido practice and then we'll go to dinner once DH gets home. I've already been showered with cards, greetings and flowers (from my son) so I'm smiling. Last night my daughter decided she wanted to make a card (I knew she was making it for me even though she denied it)! So today I'm sharing the card that she chose to make, she used the Cindy Loo cartridge, the card is a modified version of the project that's in the cartridge booklet. I did most of the work but I'm still glad about the idea and effort put forth by my daugher.
