 Happy little Friday, doing a quick drive drive by post sharing another card. In an effort to use more of my unused stash. I created this card using  sketch inspiration from Freshly Made Sketches  #754, a piece of Tim Holtz pattern paper, the Altenew scooter die, a stamped sentiment and a few enamel dots.I am sharing this card for challenge #877  - R is for Recipe over at Little Red Wagon.

Wednesday Musings

 

Hello, rainy morning doing a quick post before I get ready for work. It has been raining most of the night so I won’t get a morning walk done but I am hopeful that I will get out this evening. I am still trying to find my crafting mojo! Today I am sharing my latest layout documenting our lunch date on Baby Girl”s birthday earlier this year. She didn’t want a big celebration so we all just went out to lunch.  I just pulled random items from my stash and loosely following a sketch I got this layout done! I used some really old die sets to cut the typewriter and numbers. I had a mishap with the splatter so that required some adjustments.

CIU #365 - Orange and Black

 

Hello and happy Friday, today I am sharing my project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #365 is Orange and Black (dominate colors).  I created this fall themed card using  four different die sets, a pattern piece of paper from a Love Nicole 6x6 paper pad, and a piece of acetate for the window (can't see it in the picture). I  decided not to add an additional sentiment on the front of the card. I am sharing this card for the Word Art Wednesday challenge for weeks #770-771.

 Hello Saturday, stopping in to share a Fall card created using Freshly Made Sketches  #573 for inspiration. I am still pairing random papers with scrap pierces from my stash as I am working on using unused or less used items from my stash! I used a TH Sizzix Wood Slices die set, finished by adding some Simple Stories enamel dots.  I am sharing this card for the Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes challenge for weeks #768-769.

Happy Thoughts

 Doing a quick drive by post to share another recently created card.  I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts  challenge #698, more papers from my scrap stash with some pattern paper pieces from My Minds Eye Hootenanny 6x6 paper pad. Cut the flowers from one of the Spellbinders die sets, a stamped sentiment from Hampton Arts; finished by adding a few gems and a bow tied within some twine. I am sharing this card for the September Anything Goes challenge over at A Cut Above.

Tuesday Musings

 Well I started this post last night and never finished , I am doing a drive by post so I can get moving toward getting out of the house this morning! I have  mixed feelings about this card as I haven’t really been in a creative mood lately and it seems my “crafting mojo’ may be on vacation! Today”s card was created using sketch inspiration from Freshly Made Skerches challenge #752. I used more papers from my scrap stash, a wreath die,  a bow die, a stamped  sentiment and a few gems. I hope this week brings me some renewed energy!

I used an arch die to make my card, paper from my scrap stash,  cut the using a die from the Spellbinders Spectacular collection and the stamped sentiment is from MFT.

Hello Tuesday doing a drive by post before  work as I actually started this post on Sunday and as life would have it I didn’t finish it! I created this card using sketch inspiration from Try a Sketch on Tuesday challenge #702. I used a Spellbinders die set for the balloons, random papers from my stash including a pattern sheet from Bazzill  School Days. Stamped the sentiment using white pigment ink and a Crafter's Square stamp.

CIU #363 - Moving Along

 Hello Friday, sharing my project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #363 is Moving Along (Transportation). I decided to use a bicycle which I cut using a Sizzix die which was part of a set. This card contains a mix of old and new to my stash items.  The paper and sticker used for the sentiment were purchases from this year.

Hello and happy Sunday doing a drive by post to share a card that I created for one of my crafting friends. I am not sure why but I almost forgot so she'll be getting her card late. I created the envelope shaped card using the Spellbinders Envelope of Wonder die set.  l used a MS punch for the butterflies and added gems to some of the flowers and stamped the sentiment. This is one of those sets that requires time and patience; not sure when I will use it again! 

I shared this card over on IG for a shaped  card challenge and for the Tic Tac Toe challenge #299. I used the right diagonal row (insects, gems, free).

It’s Wednesday and I am doing a quick drive by post before I go out for an evening walk. Today I am sharing a card created using sketch inspiration from  Atlantic Hearts challenge #694 and scraps of paper from a Close to my Heart  kit. I cut the flower using my Cricut, tied a bow with some twine and added  a few enamel dots and this card was done. I am sharing this card for the monthly Anything Goes challenge over at A Cut Above  where this month they have an added twist to their challenge;;they would like to see Fall flowers on your project!

Planting Smiles

 

Hello and happy Monday, the weekend goes by way to fast! I am doing a drive by post as I meant to share yesterday but didn’t get a chance. I am sending this card to my cousin as she is an avid gardener but going through a rough time right now. I hope this card lifts her spirits and makes a way for healing and restoration. When putting the card together I used stamps and dies from Waffle Flower Green Thumb and paper from my stash.

CIU #362 - Add a Sentiment

 Hello and happy Friday, today’s project share is a card created for the  Cut it Up challenge blog. This week’s theme is Add a Sentiment. This signature clean and simple card was created using more stash items as I continue to try to de-clutter. The zigzag frame and sentiment are both dies sets from Scrapbook.com. The translucent paper is from a Canson  Effects Papercraft paper pad that has been in my stash for at least six years.

Hello Wednesday, doing a quick drive by post to share a card created using sketch inspiration from  Atlantic Hearts challenge #692. I created this card by stamping the image on a watercolor piece of paper, colored it with some Recollection watercolor crayons (something that has been in my stash for a very long time). The color actualy has a shimmer to it I guess that's why the packaging says speciality!  I am having a hard time parting with stuff as I de-clutter so I am using it to see if it should remain in my stash for a little while longer.  I cut the image with the die, assembled the card, added a stamped sentiment and a few gems and the card was done.

CIU #361 - Emboss It

 

Hello and happy Friday, welcome to another card created for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #361 is Emboss It (dry or heat) and I did both!  I embossed the background panel using the Spellbinders Splatter  embossing folder, colored it using distress oxide ink (stormy sky) and some Recollections ink for the green. Cut the wheelbarrow,  flower pots and tulips using different dies from my stash, heat embossed the sentiment and this card is ready to go postal!

Christmas Cheer

 Hello and happy Sunday,  doing a drive by post to share another holiday card. I used sketch inspiration from Freshly Made Sketches #744, Recollections pattern paper, a postage stamp die set, created my reindeer girl using a marshmallow die set with  several other die sets! I really had to shop my stash to get this project done. The sentiment came from an ephemera pack from my stash. This is my second Christmas in July card, not sure if I will have time to create others.

Merry and Bright

 Hello Wednesday, stopping in to share a Christmas in July mini slimline card. I used sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #689,  mostly paper scraps, the pattern piece is from a Paper Studio Christmas plaid pad. I used a Spellbinders Nestabilities Deckled Rectangle die set, a TH Sizzix Stacked Rectangle set and a TH word die for the sentiment Finished by adding some enamel dots and this signature super cute clean and simple card was done!

I put this card together using sketch inspiration from card sketch #299 over at  Sketch N Scrap, papers from my scrap stash, a cut apart for the sentiment, a Prima flower and finished by adding some enamel stickers.

Hello Wednesday, doing a quick drive by post as I meant to share yesterday. I have been busy finishing up my layouts for my quarterly goal! Today starts a new quarter and I already got plans this weekend to work on a few layouts as I don't have any holiday plans. 

I created this 81/2x11 layout to document a holiday visit to see the lights outside and visit Santa's indoor fun workshop.  I used my brick stencil to add some interest to the background, I always want the photos to be the focal point for my layouts, shopped my stash for some lettering for the title. Cut a few embellishments, added some enamel dots and this was layout was done.
