God's Gifts

Today is my son's birthday and he turned 28! Happy Birthday Justin if you just happen to stop by my blog. Today's LO is being submitted for a sketch challenge over at
Colorful Creations. I used pictures of my children taken as a Mother's Day gift to me several years ago. My children are indeed my most precious gift from God. I almost always mix and match paper and embellishments so I rarely know the specific manufacturer details. I did want to mention that the tag used on the LO was one I received in a swap last year.

Wedding Card

Today I'm sharing a wedding card that I made for someone that recently got married. I'm also submitting the card as part of the January's Sketch Challenge over at
Mema's Crafts. The card was easy to make espcially since the sketch was provided. I used a white card base with rounded edges, misc. paper, mini rhinestones, ribbon and a Jolee sticker (weddig bells). The inside sentiment reads congratulations and best wishes.

Kappa Kamp

Today I'm sharing a LO that I completed for the Anytime, Anywhere Scrapbooking Experience hosted by Tiare over at iClassygirl.com. This is the third LO for 2012, I'm still working on last week's LO which I hope to complete by the end of the week. The pictures used in the LO were taken last summer while we were in Indiana attending the Kappa Alpha Psi 100th year celebration. DD went to a basketball camp hosted by former NBA player Johnny Newman. I used misc. paper, the basketball and wall decor and more cartridges.

Happy MLK Day

I hope you had the opportunity to provide some sort of service in honor of Martin Luther King's birthday. I didn't feel much like serving so I didn't do anything. Today I'm sharing some ATCs that I completed for a challenges listed over at Scraps of Color.

Christmas Past

I was going through some of my pictures and LOs last week and I realized that I had hardly scrapped any pictures of DD when she was a baby. So today I'm sharing a LO using her Christmas pictures from 2002 when she was just a year old. My how time flies and I miss that little girl!

Together for Christmas

Today I'm sharing another completed LO for DH's accident album which I'm hoping to complete by the end of this month. I'm also submitting this LO for a sketch challenge over at Colorful Creations. Although I've shared this particular photograph before I just completed the LO using the photograph today. This picture was taken on Christmas Day 2010 which was day twenty of DH's hospital stay. I used misc. papers and embellishments from several different page kits.

Flowers

Yesterday was my birthday and boy did I have a heck of a day. So today I'm sharing a picture of the beautiful flowers that my son sent me. I'm so thankful for my children as they bring joy to my heart when I most need it! My daughter gave me a nice card and charms for a braclet that she gave me for Christmas so I'll probably just add those pictures to my "Smash Book."

New Clothes

Today I'm sharing my latest completed LO for the Anytime Anywhere Scrapbooking Experience hosted by Tiare over at iClassygirl.com. The LO uses pictures of some of the clothes that DD received for Christmas. I used misc. paper, buttons, a chipboard flower button, sassy fiber strands (CTMH) and (2) differnt cricut cartridges for the title.

Fresh Flowers

Today I'm sharing another LO for DH's accident journal, it uses pcitures of some of the fresh flowers that he received while he was hospitalized. This is actually the 5th LO that I've completed this year. I am on a roll, still trying use my stash of misc. stickers, paper and embellishments. I have completed all five LOs without turning on my cricut! I'll share some of the LOs here on my blog, others will be shared on other sites and some will go directly into the album. Some of the LOs for his accident journal are too graphic to share publicly.

Christmas

Happy New Year! Today I'm sharing one of two LOs that I completed today. I'm sharing the Christmas LO that I completed using pictures taken of DD and her cousins on Christmas Day. I was a little under the weather so I didn't take any pictures so I had to use pictures DH took with his cell phone.
