Wedding Wishes

Hello and happy Sunday and the start of a new week!  Today’s project share is a wedding card that I put together for one of my coworkers that will be married later today.  I used some papers and ribbon from a CTMH Fundamentals pack that was gifted to me from one of my scrapping besties!  The bride and groom was cut using the Cricut Wedding Solutions cartridge, the sentiment is from one of the CTMH Cricut sets, added a few gems to the back of the dress and this card was done! I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #124 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you will return soon!

Monday Musings

Hello and happy Monday, nice fall temps today and a break from the rain!  Today I am sharing a simple wedding card that I put together for a wedding that we attended over the weekend.  DH and I only attended the reception as we had another engagement.  I used paper from my scraps, the dot cuttlebug folder, enamel dots and a sticker for the cake.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll come back soon!  Wishing you and yours a wonderful week!

Wedding Card

Hello and happy Friday, wishing you and yours a wonderfully blessed weekend.  Today I am sharing a card that I put together last Friday as me and one of my scrapping buddies hung out on google hangout.  I needed a wedding card so I decided to pull out some of the dies that I had purchased recently from Tuesday Morning.  The sketch inspiration came from the WeR Memory Keepers doily heart die packaging, and I also used the banner die set from WeR for the first time!  I cut the heart with my cricut (can't remember which cartridge) and everything else used has been in my stash for a while!

Friday Musings

Hello and happy Friday, so looking forward to some much needed rest tomorrow.  Today I am doing another driveby post sharing a page from my friend Sharon's wedding album, I'm sorry that time and life circumstances prevented me from giving her the album before shared some of the LOs on our blogs.  If you'd like to see some other LOs that was included in our friend collaboration album you can visit Felisa's blog over at The Scrapin Diva Danita's blog at Danita's Designs.  Take care and enjoy your weekend.

Family and Friends

Hello and happy Thursday, I am so loving the nice temps even though they have been predicting more rain.  I am taking a break today from my guy card sharing to share one of the LOs that I put together for a wedding album for one of my scrapping besties!  I shared my card in an earlier post.  When we started this project the goal was to use only items from our stash but as life would have it I did purchase a few sheets of paper.  I used one of my favorite border punches, added a few embellishments and a title and the LO was done.  The photo mats are secured with removable glue dots so she can rearrange and add different size pictures.  Tomorrow I will share the cover and front page of the album and then it'll be back to he guy card challenge.

Take care.

Saturday Musings

Hello and happy Saturday, it is currently raining cats and dogs but they have cancelled the total wash out!  My original plan was stay indoors all day but as life would have those plans have changed.  I am up trying to get in a little 'me time' in before we have to go out.

I am back today to share a wedding card that I made for one of my crafting besties.  I struggled with the card because I really wanted to do something a little different.  I used a large background stamp from Sizzix that I heat embossed.  The stamp was  gifted to me by the recipient of the card.  I cut the sentiment using the cricut CTMH Artiste cartridge, used gold paper from a MS paper pad along with a piece of ribbon and a few gems.   I am pleased with end result and happy that I was able to use more items from my stash!  I am sharing this card for challenge #223 - Heat Embossing over at  Use Your Stuff.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday, yesterday it rained most of the day and today we are expecting more rain!  Today I am sharing a wedding card that I put together for one of the FB card angels.   When I set out to make the card I had planned to use her wedding colors but when I pulled out this paper pad, I just went with the color them in the paper.  The paper came from Darice which is the first time I purchased one of their paper pads.  It is one of the Embellish by Dena called Kumari, I picked it up on clearance but can't remember  when or where maybe Michaels or Wal-Mart.  I cut the couple using the cricut Wedding solutions cartridge,  used some glittered paper for the head piece, added some
small pearls to the gown and a stamped sentiment and the card was done!

Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday.

Happily Ever After

It's Wednesday and today I am sharing a card that I made for week #24 blog challenge over at Scraps of Color.  I decided to do the project that comes in the front of the cricut cartridge books, I have quite a few cartridges that I have never used and this is one way to give them a try.  This project comes from the Summer Celebrations cartridge, this is my second cut from this cartridge.  The project uses the card feature so all I had to do was add the flower for her bouquet, some small rhinestones and a pearl in her hair.  This is one of those projects where you have mixed feelings about it, oh well it's done now!

Thank you for stopping by and the kind words, have a wonderful day.

Congratulations

Its the start of a new week and I haven't gotten anything done around the house and its time to go back to work!  Oh well the good thing is that we're not hosting anyone for the holidays so maybe I'll have the energy to do something around the house.  Today I'm sharing a card that I made for one of DH's fraternity brothers that got married yesterday: we had every intention of going to the wedding but we ran out of time so we decided not to go.  The card sketch inspiration is from this week's sketch over at Clean and Simple Stamping.  I embossed the background with my cuttlebug and cut the bride and groom from the cricut wedding cartridge.  The stamp is from Stampin' Up and the pearls are Recollections.  Wishing you and yours a great week.

Wedding Card

Today I'm sharing a wedding card that I made for someone that recently got married. I'm also submitting the card as part of the January's Sketch Challenge over at
Mema's Crafts. The card was easy to make espcially since the sketch was provided. I used a white card base with rounded edges, misc. paper, mini rhinestones, ribbon and a Jolee sticker (weddig bells). The inside sentiment reads congratulations and best wishes.

V-Card #1

I finally got to do a little scrappin' not much but just a little! I've been working on a LO of my DD's most recent dance routine and I finished this card last night. This is the first in several for a weekend card challenge over on Scraps of Color. The challenge was to use red, white, and black paper only and at least one heart. I cut the double heart from the wedding cricut cartridge and then applied some rub-ons and added glitter.
