Congrats

Hello and happy Saturday, lots to do today as we are preparing for Baby Girl to attend her last high school homecoming dance.  We are hopeful that the impending weather will hold off until Sunday.  Today's project share is a LO created using pictures of Baby Girl after she placed in an event at a FBLA conference, she won second place for a public service project that she did on bullying.  I used papers from the DCWV Teenage Dream paper stack, cut the title and stars using Cricut cartridges and added some bling and stickers that were gifted to me by another crafter.  This  LO is my half way mark for my self imposed LO challenge and it also means I won't get 52 LOs completed this year.
I'm sharing this LO for the December Anything Goes challenge #29 over at the Love to Craft challenge blog.

Thank you for your visit, enjoy your weekend.

She's That Girl

Hello and happy Tuesday, it is going to be another really hot day outside so that means staying inside until I leave for the day. It won't be much cooler when I leave either but it is suppose to be a few degrees cooler today than yesterday!

Today's project share is a LO that I worked on while I was at the crop on Saturday, for some reason I can't ever really complete a project while I'm at the crop always need to add something else when I get home.  When putting this LO, I really just used mostly scraps of paper, the two pattern pieces came from the DCWV Homeroom Stack., tag was leftover from another project and the wooden veneers are from American Crafts.  I cut the title using the Graphically Speaking Cricut cartridge and the car is from the Locker Talk cartridge.

I sharing this LO for the Freestyle challenge #359 over at Hiding in my Craft Room and the Anything Goes challenge #111 over at Love to Scrap.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon.

Minimester

Hello and happy Thursday, hot and rain showers this evening in our area again today.  Today's project share is another LO for baby girl's high school album.  I sure hope I can catch up this summer so when school starts in September I won't be stressing!  I created the LO using inspiration from sketch #155 over at Sketch N Scrap.  I used papers from the Authentique  Curiosity collection, some DCWV High School themed brads that have been in my stash forever, Me & My Big Ideas stickers,  and Jillibean chipboard letters for the title.  I am sharing this LO for the Shopping Our Stash challenge #359 - She's a Craftin' Machine.  I used my SLICE to cut the SC die and my Cuttlebug to cut the circle using the WeR Memory Keepers circle die set.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back again soon.

Never Again

Hello and happy Wednesday, cloudy and rain showers in the forecast for our area today.  Today I am sharing the only LO that I actually finished on NSD, it uses pictures taken during a school system sponsored event after the Stoneman Douglas  shooting in Florida.  The pattern paper used for the base came from the DCWV High School paper pad, all other papers and embellishments used were random items from my stash. Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday.

Jabberwock

Hello and happy Sunday!  I went to be at 2 AM this morning, didn't set my clocks and woke up really late so we didn't make church.  Today I am sharing another LO that will go in my daughter's high school album.  We are less than a month away from the end of what has been a real eye opening and learning experience.  When my daughter said she wanted to run for Miss Jabberwock her dad was not in agreement but me being mom decided to allow her to participate.  We were going through as a family so I felt the need to support her even though I knew it was a daunting task.  Today's LO uses pictures taken the day the girls were introduced to the sorority members that sponsors the
competition.  Some of the papers and embellishments came from a kit and the rest have been in my stash for a long time.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you will return soon.

Smile

Hello and happy Tuesday, it rained most of the day yesterday so we're looking forward to little to no rain today and warmer temps.  Please continue to pray for our children and their safety.  Today's project is a LO using my daughter's school pictures taken last Fall, we seem to have lost her pictures from last school year; sure hope I find them before she graduates next year!  I used sketch #147 from Sketch N Scrap, the pattern paper came from the DCWV Homeroom paper pad,  I cut the title using the Going Places Cricut cartridge added  a few  embellishments and this LO was done!  I'm sharing this LO for challenge #300 - Twinkle, Twinkle over at Use Your Stuff, I added some glimmer mist to the title, used gold paper to mat the picture and some gold sequins.  Thank you for your visit and hope you'll return soon.

Homecoming

Hello and happy Monday, today I am sharing my first LO for 2018.  I used sketch inspiration from sketch #144 over at Sketch N Scrap, the heart pattern paper came from the DCWV High School paper stack, I used Thickers for the title and the Forever Young cricut cartridge for the die cut.  The gem embellishments are from Recollections.  I like how her outfit came together but it was truly a chore pulling it all together after she decided the colors and what she wanted to wear!  I am off to a relatively good start with my challenges even though I am only eight days in.  Take care and stay warm.

Sunday Musings

Hello and happy Sunday, the holiday weekend is winding down and I must say I haven't done as much as I had planned!  Oh well there's always today to try to get some things done after church.  I am happy to share that I finally got to work on another LO.  The sketch inspiration came from another one of the challenges posted on the Sketch N Scrap  Bountiful Blessings FB online crop. I used papers from the Authentique Accomplished Collection paper pad,  embellishments and lettering from my stash.  I  cut the camera with my SLICE, I had a hard time taking a picture of the LO, it really looks better in person!  Take care and I hope you will come back soon.

Composition Books

Hello and happy Wednesday, feeling a little down this week so I haven't felt up to speed.  I'm back today to share two more composition books that I did for my daughter.  I'm still trying to figure out why it was a requirement for them to be covered.  I used more paper from the DCWV Homeroom Stack, stickers from my stash and I used my expression and my cameo for the diecuts.  So proud of baby girl as she continues to sharpen her leadership skills, this is a critical year for her and I'm hoping for amazing things!  Take care and make it a great day.

Wednesday Wanderings

Hello and happy Wednesday, the holiday has really thrown me off my game.  We had cool temps this morning and they are calling for rain this afternoon but sunshine and warm temps for the weekend!  I'm back today to share one of my drive by posts as I feel like my poor blog is being neglected.  I did manage to finish two 8x8 LOs for my MIL's  calendar but I didn't take pictures; maybe I will take pictures the next time I am over her house.  Today's quick project share is an altered composition book that my daughter asked me to do for her last night.  I used papers from the DCWV Homeroom Stack and  the Authentique Curiosity 12x12 pad.   I used one of my unbranded dies to cut the stitched square and used it as the label.  She has already warned me that she'll need more, she starts off by saying she is going to help but never does.  I'm sharing this project for the No Layouts or Cards challenge #278 over at Use Your Stuff.  Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday.
