Cut it Up #171 - Bunnies/Baskets

Hello and Happy Friday, rain in the forecast for our area.  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #171 is Bunnies and or Baskets and our sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

I decided to showcase a basket and bunny, the Easter Egg Treat Basket is one of my files from My Scrap Chick and I cut the bunny using my SLICE machine.   I used more papers from the MS Essentials Holiday paper pad.  I borrowed the eggs from a basket that I have sitting on my table as part of my holiday decor.

I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration and create your own project for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.  The challenge starts today and ends on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Cut it Up #159 - Just in CASE

Hello and happy Friday, seasonal temps in our area today.

Today I'm back tto share my design team project for Cut it Up, the theme for challenge #159 is Just in CASE, case another crafter's project.  I had a hard time trying to decide what to do for this challenge. So I finally decided to make a card; my project is Pinterest inspired and can be found here:

The original card used acorns but I decided to use leaves on my card. For my project,  I chose to use the Fall Leaf Party Pennant  from My Scrap Chick along with some pattern paper from the Craft Smith Pumpkin Spice paper pad, some twine and stickles.  I used my Cameo to cut the pennant and the Winter Wonderland Cricut cartridge to cut the word greetings.

Now that you've seen my project I hope you'll head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration and decide to CASE and share a project for a chance to win a $20 store credit from My Scrap Chick.   The challenge starts today and ends on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Tuesday Musings

Hello and happy Tuesday, looking forward to nice temps and no rain today.  I'm doing a drive by post of a card that I'm sharing for the August CAS Christmas card challenge.  I purchased the die cut file from My Scrap Chick, it was really easy to put together and I just heat embossed the sentiment and added the gem star from my stash.  Another clean and simple card done and ready to go postal!

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll come back again soon.

Cut it Up #153 - Christmas in July

Hello ad happy Friday, it's the weekend and my family and I are headed to North Carolina for a family reunion.  Prayers for traveling mercies and good weather so we will be able to enjoy some outside activities too.

Today I am sharing my design team project for our Christmas in July challenge over at Cut it Up and our sponsor is My Scrap Chick.   I used the cup of tea cut file from our sponsor and some very old double sided paper that I received as a contest winner many years ago.  I think it may be from a Cosmo Cricket, I cut the snowflake with some shimmery paper which is hard to see in the picture!  I cut the file with my Silhouette cameo,  inked the edges lightly, assembled it, added a gem and a teabag and this project was done.  I hope this little project inspires you to head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog to see what the other designers shared and that you will decide to participate in our Christmas in July challenge for a chance to win some goodies from My Scrap Chick!  The challenge starts today and end on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return again soon.  Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend!
