New Year’s Eve

Hello and Happy New Year’s Eve night!  I meant to share this post earlier but as life would have it I didn’t get a chance to share until now.  I created this card using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap  #160, papers from the Recollections Cozy Lodge and the Holiday Foil 6x6 paper pads. The snowman stamp is from the Simple Stories Holly Jolly set and the sentiment is from Cardz TV.  The white layer was embossed with a Darcie snowflake folder.  I really like the card but had a hard time getting a good picture because of the foil paper.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes sketch #535 over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you’ll return again soon.

Planner Disc Swap

Hello and happy cold and rainy Monday, I am doing a quick drive by post today.  I have way too many unfinished holiday projects so I am in a time crunch to at least get my cards in the mail within the next few days.  As mentioned in an earlier post I said I would share the planner disc that I sent in the holiday cards for a planner group swap.  The disc are for the Happy Planner and I just used permanent markers to write inspiring words on one side and the year on the other side.  They went postal last week and hopefully have made it to their destination. I'm sharing this project for the Anything Goes challenge #104 over at Cardz TV and challenge #41 over at Love to Craft challenge blog.

Thank you for your visit have a marvelous week.

CIU #189 Anything Goes Christmas

Hello and happy Friday, today's project share is my latest design ream project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #189 is Anything Goes Christmas and our sponsor is Newton's Nook.

For my card I used paper from an Authentique 6x6 paper pad and the Holiday Lights stamp and die set from our sponsor.  I stamped the bulbs, colored them using color pencils, cut them with the die, added them to the card with some adhesive tape, added a few Paper Studio gems and my card was done!

I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration and decide to create a Christmas project and share it for a chance to win a gift certificate from Newton's Nook.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and your a wonderful weekend.

Believe

Hello and happy cold Wednesday, woke up to a little snow this morning but it has all disappeared now.  Today's project share is the final card created for the 12 Cards of Christmas challenge over at Soul Scrappers.  The final card was to create a Z fancy-fold card (instructions provided).  I used pattern paper and a cut apart from the DCWV Classic Christmas 12x12 pad that I picked up for my December Daily project.  The Michaels paper flowers and  Love Nicole rhinestone stars are items that I usually have in my stash!

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon!

Hello Monday

Good morning and happy misting, foggy Monday.  I'm doing a quick drive by post as I meant to post yesterday but as life would have it I didn't have time.  Today's project share is another card created for the 12 Christmas card challenge over at Soul Scrappers.  I used a cut apart from the Craft Smart Miss Claus 12x12 paper pad, stamped a sentiment and added some glimmer to the center of the bow and this card was done!  Challenge #11 was to add presents to your card so this stack of gifts included on this apart was a perfect choice for one of my signature clean and simple cards!

Thank you for your visit, hope you have an amazing week and that you'll return soon!

Holiday Swap

Hello and happy Friday, cold temps here in the Commonwealth with a forecast of some possible sprinkles this afternoon.  I have been up way too long today so I'm looking forward to going home and getting into bed.  Today's project share is some holiday cards that I made for a planner disc and card swap, I tried to make them as simple as possible since I have to include a disc which means the postage will be higher.  I will share a picture of the disc once I am finished with them which will be soon since I hope to have them in the mail by Monday.  I used mostly papers from the Love Nicole Winter Whimsy 6x6 paper pad and misc. die cuts and stamps.  I'm sharing this post for the Anything Goes challenge #104 over at Cardz TV, #516 over at Just Us Girls and the Winter  Holiday challenge #410 over at Shopping Our Stash.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy cold Wednesday, cold temps and cloudy skies this morning.  Today I am doing a quick drive by post to share another card created for the twelve card series over at Soul Scrappers.  This is my 9th card so I have three more and I hope to have them done by the end of the week.  For this card I used a Sizzix 3-D embossing folder and just added some rhinestone stars,  and added the layer to the card base with some double sided foam tape.  I am also working on cards for a card/planner disc swap for a planner group and trying to get my own holiday cards done and in the mail.  As far as the December Daily, I'm take notes and sometimes photos and hope to work on it during my monthly crop with the RVA Scrappers next week.

Thank you for your visit, hurry back!

Best Wishes

Hello and happy Cyber Monday, hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving and that you are gearing up for more fun with family and friends.  I have so much that I need to do within the next few weeks, need to sit down and plan it all out.  Today's project share is another installment on my challenge of holiday cards created for the 12 cards of Christmas over at Soul Scrappers.  The eighth card was to include a Christmas elf,  I used the Wrap it Up Cricut cartridge to cut my elf, the papers came from the Craft Smith Say Freeze 6x6 paper pad, the sentiment came from one of the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut stamps; finished the card by adding just one enamel dot!

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon.

December Daily

Hello, happy Sunday and first day of December, rain and cool temps in our area today.  Baby Girl will be going back to school today, she will be back in 11 days for her winter break.  I think I may have mentioned earlier that one of my scrappin' besties suggested that we do a December Daily, after watching several YT videos I decided to try a memory/rolodex style daily.  Today's project share is a few of the prep cards that I created using misc. papers, dies, stickers and embellishments.  I sure hope I can keep up with this as I do have a lot going on right now.  My plan is to share periodic updates, I am sure I won't snap a picture everyday but I will at least journal!

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful week.

Sending Big Hugs

Hello and happy Wednesday, more seasonal temps in today's forecast.  So much has been going on that I haven't even had time to process and or share but I'm just trying to be thankful and not complain.  Today's project share is a card that I created for one of my scrappin' besties that recently suffered an unexpected loss.  Although it is one of my signature clean and simple cards, I really like how it came out.  I used the Calm & Loving stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, my stamp positioner and some dimensional adhesive before adding the layer to the card base.  I'm sure I'll be using this stamp set again soon as it has lots of sentiments.  I'm sharing this card for the November challenge over at the Love to Craft challenge blog.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and that you'll return soon.

Joy

Hello Monday afternoon,  cloudy outside as the sun is setting; I am back to share my second blog post of the day.  It is another Christmas card and I have yet to finish my Fall/Thanksgiving cards.  I still need to make two sympathy/thinking of you cards and one birthday card this week.  I created this card and I am sharing it for one of the card challenge being hosted over at Soul Scrappers, challenge #6 was to include nativity as part of your card, I used one of my Silhouette files.  The file itself makes such a statement so I decided to only add a few layers not to add any embellishments.  This particular file is one of  my favorites.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon.

Congratulations

Hello and happy cool Monday.  I am back today with a quick drive by post sharing a card that I made for someone expecting their first child.  I used sketch inspiration from CAS(E) #348, papers from the Echo Park Bundle of Joy  6x6 paper pad, used my SLICE machine to cut the onesie (added a wood veneer heart) and a stamped sentiment and this card was done.  I am sharing this card for the Cardz TV Anything Goes challenge #102.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful week.

CIU #187 - Celebrating Fall

Hello and happy Friday, more cold temps in the forecast.  I am back today to share my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  Celebrating Fall is the theme for challenge #187 and our sponsor is The Cutting Cafe.

Today's project share is another one where I struggled as I really wanted to do something different.  The jar of apples and sentiment is ffrom The Cutting Cafe, the wood grain paper and twine came from my stash;  I colored the apples with my color pencils, made the sentiment into a tag and added some wink of stellar to the top(not really visible in the picture).

I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more Celebrate Fall inspiration, create and share your project using a die for a chance to win some files from our sponsor.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visity, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

World Kindness Day

Hello and happy World Kindness Day!   After our first sighting of snow yesterday and the drop in temperature I pulled out the big coat, scarf and gloves this morning!  Today's project share is something new for me but not new to the industry.  I am sharing my very first memory dex/rolodex card.  One of my scrappin' besties suggested that we do a December daily so off to YT for some ideas before I commit to another project.  After watching December Daily Memory Dex Spinner  I have decided that I am going to do this for my December daily but not with the spinner I am making a box; so stay tuned as I prepare for this project.  So for my first run I decided to do a Fall themed card since that's what I am working on now.  The rolodex card is a file from the Silhouette store, I used  misc. scraps of paper, stickers and a Darice tree die and this project was done!  I am sharing this project for challenge #382 over at Use Your Stuff and challenge #513 over at Just us Girls.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon, stay warm.
