Just A Note

Hello Friday afternoon, I'm back to share another card that I created for a challenge.  I have been on a ten day card sharing challenge for one of the FB groups.  Yesterday was my last post so I have several cards that I'll be sharing on my blog that were previously shared on FB.  I put this card together using sketch inspiration from Mojo Monday #557, papers from the Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 paper pad, a Gina Marie gnome die, and an edge punch.  Finished the card by adding a stamped sentiment and a few gems.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon!

CIU #223 - How's The Weather

Hello Friday and welcome weekend!  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  How's the Weather is the theme for challenge #223, we created using any weather related theme and the sponsor for this challenge is DRS Designs and they are offeringa $20 voucher to their store.

I created my weather themed project using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts challenge #415, a piece of pattern paper from the Jillibean Soup Saffron Yellow Pepper Soup 6x6 paper pad and other misc. paper scraps from my stash.  The digital stamp used for the sentiment is from the sponsor's store and the umbrella is a Stampin' Up punch.  Another signature clean and simple card ready to go postal.

For more weather related inspired projects visit the Cut it Up challenge blog, create and share your project for a chance to win some crafty goodness from our sponsor.  The contest starts today and ends Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at noon EST.

Happy 90th Birthday

Hello and happy sunny Thursday more nice weather which means more sinus issues for those of us that have allergies.  Today's drive by post is a card created using sketch inspiration from The Sketchy Challenges #173.  I used papers from the American Crafts SparkleBerry Ink 6x6 paper pad that I picked up on clearance last year.  I used two different Spellbinders dies for the sentiment, circle and numbers, finished the card by adding a few Queen & Co. gems.  This card has already gone postal, not sure it will make it to the recipient who celebrates her 90th birthday today.  I am sharing this card for the anything goes challenge #137 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back, tomorrow I will be sharing my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.

Sunshine and Laughter

Hello and happy Tuesday, more nice weather in today's forecast.  Today's card share uses sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card sketch #191 and more papers from the Recollections Blue Blooms 6x6 paper pad., the pattern papers made the card so it really wasn't necessary to add too much else.  I could have centered the sentiment but since I didn't fix it before I can't worry about it now!  I cut the flower using a Sizzix die, used some Recollections rose gold strips of paper and a Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment and the card was done!

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

Paper Pad Challenge

Hello Thursday, more rain in today’s forecast.  I'm back today to share a challenge completed by some of the Cut it Up challenge blog design team members.  We each chose a 6x6 paper pad and completed as many projects as possible, I still have some scraps left so I might be able to do about two more signature clean and simple cards.  I created 25 cards that included two mini slim line cards, and 3 baskets using the My Mind's Eye Breeze 6x6 paper pad which was a double sided pattern paper pad.  The pad was gifted to me some years ago by one of my scrapping besties.  In addition to the paper pad I used lots of stuff from my stash and even  some things for the first time. I had a hard time getting a good picture but a lot of time has been spent on this project so it’s time to move on!

Now that you've seen my projects, you should visit the other designers to see more great projects using 6x6 paper pads.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and hurry back soon!
