Hello Friday, let the weekend begin! Today’s project is my first ever eclipse card created for my design team project over at Cut it Up for challenge #225,. The theme is Mother’s Day and the sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.
When putting my card together I used a piece of pattern paper from a DCWV Year Round paper stack, a piece of ribbon for the bow (used the cheater method), a Momenta alphabet set and some foam for dimension. The next time I might use the multiple paper cuts instead of the foam. The card base is a piece of Paper Studio heavy weight card stock. I like how my card came out but I feel there is room for improvement.
Please visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration. Create and share your Mother’s Day project using a die for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from our sponsor. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at noon EST.
