JUMP

Hello Wednesday, doing a quick drive by post as I meant to share yesterday. I have been busy finishing up my layouts for my quarterly goal! Today starts a new quarter and I already got plans this weekend to work on a few layouts as I don't have any holiday plans.

I created this 81/2x11 layout to document a holiday visit to see the lights outside and visit Santa's indoor fun workshop.  I used my brick stencil to add some interest to the background, I always want the photos to be the focal point for my layouts, shopped my stash for some lettering for the title. Cut a few embellishments, added some enamel dots and this was layout was done.

I am sharing this layout for Just Us Girls challenge #829 - Stencil Week.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

World Play Day

Hello and happy Monday doing a quick drive by post since I didn’t post last week. I have been creating just not sharing, trying to get some layouts done as this second quarter comes to an end. This layout documents my participation in World Play Day at work, this event sponsored by Lego and the theme was under the sea. When putting this layout together I just used random papers from my stash, created the title and sub-title  using Thickers, label maker and sticker letters.  All other elements created using miscellaneous die sets.

I am sharing this layout for the Anything Goes Word Art Wednesday challenge for weeks #756-757 and the June Anything Goes challenge over at A Cut Above.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you will visit again soon!

State Fair Fun

Happy little Friday,  the last day of the month. I am up doing another drive by post to share a layout that I recently finished. It is an 8 1/2 x 11 layout of my daughter and her little friend at last year’s state fair,. I used my Cricut  to cut the carousel, looking at it now I should have cut it smaller!; oh well it’s done now! I  used  stickers for the title and date and a flyer to cut the sub+title, added a few punched stars and it was done. I am sharing this layout for the Anything Goes challenge #211 over at Crafting Happiness Challenges

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

Expo

Hello and happy Tuesday, doing a quick drive by post as I need to get out and get my walk in before work.  Today I am finally sharing a layout that, I actually completed two layouts this past weekend!  For this layout I used pictures from a Stamp and Scrapbook Expo that I went to earlier this year, this was actually my first time attending.  I went with a group of ladies from a local scrapbook club! I used blocks of patten paper from the Simple Stories Crafty Things 6x8 paper pad, empherma, stickers, enamel dots and my label maker.  I am sharing this layout for the Challenge YOURself #129 Use Lots of Pattern Paper.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

CIU #298 - Dots and/or Stripes

Hello and happy Friday, the end of the month is approaching and I have to get some layouts completed.  Today's project share is my design team submission for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #298 is dots and or stripes.

When putting this 8 1/2x11 layout together I used papers that I picked up from JoAnn's recently, I cut the star studded circle using my Silhouette with some foil paper from Michaels.  The title is a wood veneer Momenta sticker, added a few other embellishments and it was done. The picture on the layout  of my daughter and I wearing our holiday pajamas from 2022.

I hope you will visit the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration.  Create and share your Dots and/or Stripes project, don't forget to include a die.  The challenge starts today and ends, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

CIU #296 - Makes Me Happy

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin.  Today's project share is a layout created for my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #296 is This Makes Me Happy.

Ordinarily I would scrap something family centered but this picture was sitting on my table waiting to be scrapped.  I am a shoe girl, love shoes and my feet are always happy when I put on some new shoes.  On that particular day I was sitting in church and snapped this picture of my feet!  I used mostly scraps of paper, the pattern sheet came for a Paper Studio paper pack, I think the name of it is Boss Babe.  I used stickers for the title, a hexagon die set, a shoe punch, some floss and a  few other embellishments.

Head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration.  Create and share your Happy project using a die; the challenge starts today and ends February 7, 20224 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

Friends

Hello Saturday morning,  started this post yesterday but as life would have it I didn't get a chance to finish!   Today's project share is my latest layout of me and some of my crafty friends!  I really like how it came out even though the outcome was a little different from my original vision.  I used papers from the CTMH My Reflections  paper pack,  some Prima flowers that I recently won from participating in a challenge, some faux wood letters and hearts,  Recollections pearls and finally some TH Small Talk stickers.   Friends are truly the family we choose and I love these ladies, so grateful that our paths crossed!  The journaling is in a pocket on the back.

Thank you for your visit, hope you will return again soon!  Be well and enjoy your weekend.

Sweet Treat

Hello and happy Tuesday, doing a quick drive by to share one of my most recent layouts.  I have been on a quest to scrap me more as I'm usually the one behind the camera.  Today's LO is one that I created using pictures taken during a summer celebration at work; I called it Friday Fun Frenzy!  I had fun just chillin, trying to lift the morale of the hospital staff!  I used papers from an Echo Park and stickers from an Echo Park paper pack, some dies, enamel dots and I even pulled the felt hearts from a bag that was sitting in my stash.  I like it and it helps me complete  another LO toward my quarterly goal. I'm sharing this for the Challenge YOURself  #117 - Life Balance, fun work celebrations help with work balance!

Thank you for your visit, hope you will return soon.  Take care and continue to be safe!

Tuesday Musings

Good morning and happy less humid Tuesday; I won't even start to talk about the weather and all that's going on right now.  I have been creating but not really sharing on my blog; it's hard trying to navigate this social media presence!  Today I am doing a quick drive by to share a scrapbook LO that I recently completed; as scrapbooking is really my passion!  I created this LO using a picture taken recently with my father during a family event; the only thing that pains me is that my mom is not well so we rarely take pictures.  Most of the papers came from an old Authentique pad, stickers from Heidi Swapp and Paper Studio, enamel hears and a heart paper clip from my stash!

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

Wednesday Musings

Hello and happy Wednesday, we just may get a break from the rain in our area today!  i need the rain to hold off so I can get a nice walk in, I need to get in at least three miles to meet my monthly goal!  Today's project share is a scrapbook layout created using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap  11th Birthday Bash sketch #2.  The base came from a real old Recollections paper pad, the pattern papers cam from a Me & My Big Ideas pack, I cut the camera with my SLICE machine, the sentiment and heart came from a sticker pack that has been in my stash for a long time.  Finished by adding a few enamel dots and a sticker for the sub-title.

Thank you for your visit, hope you have an amazing day.
