Merry Christmas

Hello, happy Friday and welcome to the weekend.  It's cold outside and preparations are being made for the impending winter weather.  Today I am sharing a card using sketch inspiration from challenge #386 from Try Stampin on Tuesday.  The paper came from an Authentique 6x6 paper pad, used a Spellbinders die for the scallop circle, an unbranded die for the sentiment, some hemp cord for the bow and a few gems completes the card!  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #77 over at Cardz TV and the Christmas colors challenge over at Hiding in my Craft Room.

Take care and enjoy your weekend.

Male Birthday Card

Hello and happy Thursday, we had some snow flurries yesterday so we'll see what today brings with the cold temps.  I am back today  to share a birthday card created using sketch inspiration from skerch #293  over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I used more paper from the My Mind's Eye Hey Mister paper pad, a heat embossed stamped sentiment and the Richard Garay Time Flies stamp/die set for the watch.  I am not sure how I feel about this card but it's done and ready to be shared!  I am sharing this card for the Happy Birthday Dude challenge #383 over at Shopping Our Stash.

Thank you so much for your visits and comments; take care and come back again soon!

Season's Greetings

Hello and happy Wednesday, cold in our area again today with the forecast of a possible wintry mix this weekend.  Today's card share uses sketch inspiration from Fall to Layout #100 Take Two over at Palm Trees & Pogo Sticks.  The snowflake chalk looking snowflake paper is from Recollections and I just pulled it from last year's holiday scraps, I tied a bow with some twine, added some gems, stamped the sentiment and added it to the base with some foam adhesive.  I added some wink of stella to the card base but it you can't really see it in the picture.  It has only been five days for my December daily posting, I sure hope I can do it!

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful Wednesday.

Happy Holidays

Hello and happy Tuesday, seasonal weather in the forecast for our area today.  Today I'm sharing a card created using sketch inspiration from Fab Friday sketch #151.  This card came together quickly and I like it!  I used some pattern paper from the Craft Smith Gold Gift 6x6 paper pad, an ornament cut from the  Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge,  some gold glittered tape from Dollar Tree and some trim that I picked up last year from Target.  I'm sharing this card for the Bitten by the Bug 2 ornament challenge and the Anything Goes challenge #76 on Cardz TV.

Take care and I have a terrific Tuesday!

First Monday

Hello and happy first Monday of December 2018, mild temps and cloudiness in our area today. Today I am sharing another one of my signature  simple cards that I made using a strip of washi tape, a few enamel dots and a sizzix stamp/die set for the sentiment.  I was gifted that wide roll of washi tape some time ago and decided it was time to use it, washi tape is one of the items that I tend to hoard!  I'm sharing this card for the washi challenge #382 over at Shopping Our Stash and December Anything Goes challenge #29 over at Love to Craft Challenge Blog.

Thank you for your visit, have a wonderful week and I hope you'll return soon!

Holiday Tags

Hello and happy Sunday, the start of a new week!  Rain and mild temps in the forecast for our area today.  Today's project share is a ser of gift tags created.using an unbranded die for the tag and inspiration from a YT video shared several years ago. Tags are another way to use scraps and leftover embellishments.    I just used red scraps, black glittered and  gold foil paper; finished them off with some twine.  I'm sharing  thes tags for challenge #397 - Tags over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll stop by again soon.

Happy December

Hello and happy Saturday,  rain and cool temps in our area today.  I hung out with the RVA Scrappers at our monthly crop and I completed several projects.  Today's card share uses sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #292.  I used papers from an AC 6x6 paper pad, a stamped sentiment, the Santa  stickers were gifted to me at today's crop and the Recollections epoxy stickers have been in my stash for a long time.   Last month of the year and I am challenging myself to share a project everyday this month, wish me luck!

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.
