Happy 25th

Hello Friday, I'm back with my second post of the day.  I created this birthday card using sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap card sketch #179, pattern papers from the My Mind's Eye Hey Mister 6x6 paper pad, unbranded number dies, some Love Nicole adhesive nail heads and a stamp from my stash for the sentiment.  I sometimes struggle with mail themed cards but I think this one came together quite easy because of the paper and sketch.  This card is now headed to Japan to a young man that will be celebrating his birthday next month since he can't come home his mother asked us to send him a card.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #126 over at Cardz TV.

Take care and hurry back.

CIU #212 - Thanksgiving Themed Box or Bag

Hello Friday and welcome to the weekend.  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #212 is Happy Thanksgiving, create a box or bag; and the sponsor for this challenge is Digital Delights by Louby Lou (site now closed).

When putting my bag together I chose one that I could maximize the size and didn't have to use my die cutting machine. I watched one of MayMay Made It YT videos and created what is called a ceral box hack treat bag. I just used a piece of heavy weight brown 12x12 card stock, an unbranded tag die, some twine, a digital image from our sponsor and a Stampabilites stamp for the for the sentiment. This super cute bag was done in no time!

Now that you've seen my project, I hope that you'll head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration. Create and share your box or bag project using a dies for a chance to win two digital images from our sponsor. The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, have a safe and enjoyable weekend.

More Candles

Hello and happy hump day, mild temps in today's forecast with some rain in the forecast within the next few days courtesy of tropical storm Zeta.  Today's project share is a birthday card created after watching one of Natsha's YT videos, I have really been getting a lot of inspiration from her lately.  I used a Tonic Studio's diamond shaped die to create the background, paper from another Ki Memories  6x6 paper pad, the sentiment is from an Inlovearts stamp set.  The sentiment was heat embossed on vellum, added a few gems and this card was done and went postal yesterday!

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.  Take care and be safe.

Feel Better Soon

Hello cool, cloudy Monday.  Today I am sharing a get well card that I made for one of my scrapping friends that recently had surgery.  This card uses sketch inspiration from Mojo Monday sketch #548, papers from a  Ki Memories 6x6 paper pad, a piece of foliage from my leftover die cuts pile and a CTMH sentiment stamp.  I embossed one of the layers since I only had the one strip of pattern paper. Sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #126 over at CardzTV.

Take care, be safe and have a wonderful week!

Heartfelt Sympathy

Hello Thursday, almost the weekend; another fair weather day so I'll be taking a walk during lunch.  I'm doing a quick drive by post to share another sympathy card that will be going out in today's mail.  I created this card after watching one of  May May's YT videos where she had a series on sympathy card creations during one of her stamp releases.  I don't have any of her stamps but I do subscribe to her channel and share on her FB group when I create something inspired by one of her creations.  For my card I used a Crafter's Companion embossing folder and flower die both items purchased from TM a while ago.  The stamp is from Close to my Heart and the pearl in the center of the flower is from Recollections. I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #125 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon; staff safe!
