Monday Musings

Hello and happy Monday, I'm stopping in to do a drive by post of another card. My original plan was to share yesterd but as you can see that  didn't happen.  Today's share is a card created using some gingerbread dies that I recently added to my stash during the Amazon Prime days!  The plaid paper is from Park Lane and the foil is from Recollections. The orginial plan was to use a cookie sheet but I didn't have a die that was sized in proportion with my card but I've since added one from the Silhouette design store for futuer use!  I've gotten really lazy which means my electronic diecutting machines aren't my "go to" tool of choice! I'm sharing this card for the August Anything Goes challenge over at A Cut Above, another blog that host monthly challenges where you can share projects created using dies.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back again soon.

Happy Harvest

It's Sunday evening and I have been binge watching Netflix for the last two days; shame on me because that means I haven't done my chores!  Today's card share is one created using sketch inspiration Atlantic Hearts  sketch challenge #540, miscellaneous scraps of paper, a tag die and an Art Impression stamp for the sentiment.  I cut the apple using my SLICE machine which hadn't used in a long time.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon.

Christmas in July

Hello Tuesday, today I am sharing two more holiday cards created using the Echo Park Celebrate Christmas 12x12 paper pack.  I created the cards using some embossing folders which aren't really visible in the picture and cut a-parts from the paper pack for the sentiments; though they are clean and simple they look better in person!  I'm sharing them over at Shopping Our Stash for their No Stamping Allowed challenge. Two more cards to add to my stash to use or donate.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back soon!

Making Lemonade

Hello and happy Sunday, when life give you lemons you made lemonade!  Today's card share was created using sketch inspiration from Try Stampin' on Tuesday #607 and papers from the Recollections When Life Gives You Lemons 12x12 paper pad,  I used a Cottage Cutz Stitched Wonky die set,  a Sparkle & Co stamp set for the lemon and for the sentiment I used a stamp and die set from Alina Crafts; finished the card by adding some gold thread behind the sentiment!

Thank you for your visit, take care as you enjoy your holiday weekend.  I hope you'll return soon.

Saturday Musings

Hello and happy Saturday, why has it been a week since I last shared!  I guess you could blame it on life but I have been creating just not sharing.  Today I am sharing four cards using the same sketch which came from Stamptastic Designs.  I used papers from the SEI Juliette 6x6 paper pad, miscellaneous label dies and stamps from my stash.  I finished the cards by adding some Recollections pearl embellishments. I'm kicking off my 2023 use my stash campaign, hoping not to make any purchases, wish me luck!   My one word for the year is De-clutter so what better way to start off is by using and sharing my stash of crafting goodies. I am sharing this project the Anything Goes Challenge #1-2023 over at  A Perfect Time to Craft and Love to Craft Challenge #72.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back soon.

Fall

Hello and happy Monday, doing a quick drive by post to share a Fall themed card.  Over the weekend I spent some time trying to thin out my paper scraps, didn't really get a lot done.  On Saturday I participated in a virtual 5k, in support of teen mental health, hope to scrap the pictures soon!  When putting the card together I used some leftover Echo Park paper, a cut a part from the paper pack for the sentiment, a Sizzix pumpkin die, some twine and some  Gina Marie enamel dots I'm sharing this card for the Autumn Inspiration challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back!

Get Well Soon

Hello and happy Sunday!  The weekend goes by way too fast especially when on Saturday your schedule is booked from the start of the day until you are so tired all you can do is go to bed!  Which means you will be busy on Sunday too.  When I woke up yesterday I had a text from my DH saying he needed four cards, he said he would help but I knew that meant he needed them right away!  I used a sketch from FUSION for inspiration for two of the cards.  When he asks for cards they are usually for his fraternity brothers so I usually use the same colors with a little variation and not too many embellishments.  I used embossing folders and the Simply Sweet cricut cartridge for the sentiment.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful week.
