JOY

Hello Thursday evening more like night since I almost ready for bed.  Doing a quick drive by post to share a card that I created earlier this week.  I used sketch inspiration from one of the Mojo Monday sketches, the snowflake paper is from the Doodlebug Design Santa Express 6x6 paper pad.  I used a Spellbinders die for the circle frame and the snowflake, finished the card by adding some bling. I used an unbranded alphabet die set to cur the sentiment.  I am sharing this card for the Cute and Simple challenge over at the Sisterhood of Crafters.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you will visit again soon.  Take care.

Congratulations

Hello Thursday, another beautiful weather day here in our area; didn't get to walk this morning so that means I'll have to make an effort to get it done after class this evening.  Today's card share uses sketch inspiration from Mojo Monday #560.  The pattern paper is from Paper Studio, I cut the sentiment using the Beyond Birthdays cartridge and caps using the Graduation cricut cartridge. This is another version of a previously created card, using my stash as I'm not buying any new craft related items; only adhesive and mats as necessary.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge over at the The Sisterhood of Crafters.

Take care and hurry back soon!

CIU #215 - Tic Tag Toe

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up Challenge blog, the sponsor for challenge #215 is DRS Designs.  We were charged with creating a tag using the following  Tic Tag Toe  board for inspiration:

This is one of those projects that I struggled with because I was finding it hard to bring the picture in my head to the paper. Early on I had selected the star wreath stamp from our sponsor, not sure but for some reason I like wreaths.  I just colored the digital stamp with my color pencil, inked the tag background with a stencil, I used the Joys of the Season cartridge for the bells and the Winter Woodland cartridge for the word Joy which I cut 6 times for some added dimension.; finished it off by adding some red ribbon! I'm sharing this tag for the Bitten by the Bug 2 Die-lirious Holiday Season challenge and The Sisterhood of Crafters Anything Goes Christmas/Winter.

Now that you've seen my tag, I hope you will head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration, create and share your project that includes a tag, a die and elements from the tic-tag-toe board for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from DRS Designs. The challenge starts today and ends, Wednesday, December 23 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and have a wonderful weekend.

Joy

Hello Saturday, nice temps in today’s forecast so I plan to get out to do some food shopping.  I am doing a quick drive by post to share another holiday card that turned out nothing like how I original planned!  I used a Sizzix TH Alterations embossing folder, a cut apart from the Pink Paislee Snow Village 12 x 12 paper pad and a sentiment die cut using my SLICE machine.  I am sharing this card for the embossing challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters. Although the end result was different from the original plan I still like it and it will be going postal soon!

Thank you for your visit, hurry back and stay safe!

Fall Memory Dex

Hello and happy Wednesday and first full day of Fall, I meant to post yesterday but as life would have it I didn't get a chance.  Today I am doing a quick drive by post sharing a MemoryDex card that I created for one of the challenges during  a recent zoom meet up.  I created the card by stenciling the background with some distress inks, added some Fall themed emphera and coffee cup that I cut using the Sizzx Spring Icons die set that I picked up on clearance from HL recently.  This will be going postal this weekend along with some other just because mail!  I am sharing this project for the anything but a card challenge over at Sisterhood of Crafters.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back!

Fall

Hello and happy Monday, doing a quick drive by post to share a Fall themed card.  Over the weekend I spent some time trying to thin out my paper scraps, didn't really get a lot done.  On Saturday I participated in a virtual 5k, in support of teen mental health, hope to scrap the pictures soon!  When putting the card together I used some leftover Echo Park paper, a cut a part from the paper pack for the sentiment, a Sizzix pumpkin die, some twine and some  Gina Marie enamel dots I'm sharing this card for the Autumn Inspiration challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters.

Thank you for your visit, take care and hurry back!

Loads of Love

Hello and happy Saturday, sunny skies and mild seasonal temps today.  Today I am sharing a card that I made using the Recollections Valentines stamp and die set that I picked up in Michaels last week.   My dad’s birthday is next week so this card is for him from my daughter.  The wood veneer hearts  and cloud die has been in my stash forever.   Now that I am typing this post I am wondering why I didn’t color the truck green, since his truck is green!   I am even more amused at that road that I created!   I am sharing this card for the newly acquired stash challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters blog.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
