Celebrate

Hello and happy New Year's Eve, mild temps and rain in our area.  Today I am sharing a card that can easily be mass produced to share with family and friends.  Inspiration to create this card came after I watched Tracy's video, she is one of the designers on May May Made It blog.  On this card I used glittered card stock for the year but on my other cards I used some Making Memories Slice metallic paper, I cut the year using the Days and Dates Cricut cartridge, a Pink & Main Stitched Rectangle die for the layer and a stamped sentiment. I'm sharing this card for challenge #91 over at Always Fun Challenges.  I almost made my daily posting challenge for December only missed three days!

Thank you for your visit, be safe and enjoy if you're going out tonight.  I hope you'll come back again soon!

Open House

Hello and happy Sunday, more seasonal temps in the forecast today with a forecast for more rain later this week.  Today I am sharing LO #27, my last LO for 2018, I'd like to get a few more done but I know I can't!  This LO uses sketch inspiration from  Sketch N Scrap challenge #166, I like their sketches and I try to complete at least two of them each month.  I also participate in their FB online crops.    The papers came from the Lori Whitlock kit, The Story of Our Family, Jillibean Soup Bean Board Alphas for the title and some wood veneer embellishments.   I am sharing this LO for the Anything Goes challenge #484 over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Thank you for your visit, hope you continue to enjoy time with family and friends.

Happy Birthday

Hello and happy Saturday, more mild temps and  no rain in today's forecast.  We are going to visit my family today and we will be celebrating one of my aunt's 60th birthday.  Today's project uses sketch inspiration from Sketch N Scrap. card sketch # 136. The paper scraps came from the DCWV Indian Summer Fall Stack 12x12 paper pad, I used both C..C. designs and Sizzix dies for the balloons.  A heat embossed stamped sentiment  completes this card and it  is a ready to go postal.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Cut it Up #164 - New Years Resolutions

Hello and happy Friday, mild temps and rain in today's forecast.  Today I am sharing my design team project for the Cut it Up challenge #164 and our sponsor for this challenge is Kitten Scraps.

Originally I was going to create a bookmark since I decided I wanted to create something centered around reading but I decided to just create a card instead.  I chose the papers once I colored the digital stamp from Kitten Scraps, it is one of the Love to Read Fairies.  I used sketch inspiration from challenge #388 over at Try Stampin on Tuesday.  I am not one to have New Years Resolutions but I do love to read!  I used some  purple Bazzill heavy weight paper for the base, a piece of DCWV Glitzy paper,  a C.C. Designs half rectangle die, some Queen & Co. Jellies and a sentiment from the  Favorite Phrases  Cardz TV stamp set.

Now that you've seen my card I hope you'll head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog and see what the other designers created and join the challenge by sharing your New Years Resolution project for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Kitten Scraps.  The challenge starts today and ends at noon on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.  Don't forget your project must include the use of a die.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.

Happy New Year

Hello and happy cold Thursday morning, doing a quick driveby post.  Today's card share is one created using sketch inspiration from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #296.  I still have my Christmas papers out so I just decided to use a piece of pattern paper from one of the Craft Smith gold foil paper pads and some Recollections gold fold paper, a stamp from one of the Cardz TV stamp sets and a few cuts from the  Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge.  I didn't get to send some Christmas cards to my neighbors so I am trying to get a few New Years done within the next few days!

Take care and have a terrific Thursday! I hope you'll come back tomorrow as I'll be sharing my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.

Celebrate the Season

Hello and happy Wednesday, the day after Christmas; I am heading in to work today since I stayed in all day yesterday!  I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you enjoyed time with family and friends.  Today  is my parents anniversary I hope their card arrives as it seems a lot of my Christmas cards haven't made it to their destination yet.

Today's project share is another Christmas card that I made using sketch inspiration for the online crop being hosted by Sketch N Scrap on FB.  I used more paper from the American Crafts paper pad, an unbranded die for the stitched circle, a Spellbinders label die and some enamel dots.  I am sharing this card for Any Holiday challenge #384 over at Hiding in my Craft Room and the Anything Goes challenge #79 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and that you will return again soon. I failed at posting daily this month but such is life!

Gift Card Holders

Hello and happy Sunday, I am doing a quick driveby post as I need to be heading out to church.  I was so busy yesterday that I didn't get a chance to post  and nor did I take pictures of the mini album that I created and gifted someone for their birthday.  Today I am sharing some super quick  gift card holders that I put together.  I used the WeR Memory Keepers envelope punch board, some scrap paper, twine and a sramp.  I used the belly  band to secure the envelope and added a few stickles to the outside.  I am sharing this project for the Anything Goes challenge #79 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, have a good holiday week.
