Hello happy Friday and welcome to the weekend. Today I am sharing my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. The theme for challenge #217 is Back in Time and the sponsor is Lawn Fawn.
I went back to the 80s and used one of my files from the Silhouette design library, a cassette player/walkman. The pattern layer of payer is from the Project Life Desktop Edition 6x6 paper pad and the cassette tape was cut using the Sizzix Sing it Loud 2 die set. I still own lots of cassette tapes and may even have a walkman somewhere in my stash!

How fun is this! I loved my cassette player and earphones. I just can't get with the music using my phone. I guess I really am old school. Love your card.
Great card and that die is awesome! I remember this well! I still have cassettes laying around and an old cassette player to play them. We have definitely experienced many ways to hear music in our lifetime from spinning tunes to vocally asking "Alexa" to play whatever we want to hear! It's amazing to remember there was a time we had to just sit and hope the DJ would play our favorite song! Thanks for the memories!
Treva, your card really brought back memories for me! I loved my cassette player when I was growing up. Who would have ever thought we could have all our music and so much more on our phones now??
