CIU #216 - Winter

Hello Friday and Happy New Year! Today I am sharing my latest creation for the Cut it Up. challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #216 is Winter and the challenge sponsor is CAS-ual Friday Stamps.

This is one of those cards that I struggled with and it changed many times in my head before I finally settled.  I like the end result but I could have done a little better with the ink blending and the height of the snow mound!  I used some glittered paper for the snow after I didn't have the items in my stash to create it.  The little penguin die cuts came from Mary over at Cardz TV and I used the Cricut Graphically Speaking cartridge to cut the sentiment and the snowflakes, added some stickles and this card was done and I like it!  I'm sharing it for the Cardz TV anything goes challenge #130.

I hope you head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration and decide to create a winter themed project for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from our sponsor.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday,  January 13, 2021 at noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and enjoy the weekend.

I love this card, Treva. I think the glitter paper is perfect for snow and the penguins are so adorable. I love the Brrr and snowflakes and were surprised to read that they come from Graphically Speaking. I have that cartridge!! Maybe 2021 is the year I actually explore my cartridges . . . What do you think?!?!

Love your card Treva. Those penguins are adorable. I'm not sure why but penguins always make me smile.
